While this album can be overly brutal and rely on breakdowns too much at times, a sense of humor can still be heard and the majority of the music was quite enjoyable. Also, there is fairly good talent shown on this album.

Imagine being a Chelsea Grin fan in '12, seeing the label "Deathcore" and then listening to this monster? Lmao. This album changed the game, I believe it's the first ever slam deathcore album, a label that has since included the likes of Vulvodynia, and Signs of the Swarm amongst others. For that, it's profoundly significant within the scene. It's also the album where Dan Watson made a name for himself, and deservedly so. Although most Infant Annihilator fans can agree with the fact that I'm glad Dickie took his spot afterwards.

A satire album that is actually more fun and complete than many of the genre. The band, even if bizarre and some senses and themes that mock the Deathcore, make the style even more attractive. A type of album that i like to hear many times and that motivates me to do exercises, even if it's kind of stupid to say that. A beautiful work of entertainment.

A major problem I have with Infant Annihilator's first studio album, The Palpable Leprosy of Pollution, is that it takes itself more lightly than it actually should. The novelty of the duo's full-length debut offering barely hesitates to wear thin after a while, and the overbearing production quality doesn't help the album's case. This I find unfortunate because the group is competent enough from an instrumental point of view to be considered amusing, and the vocals are decent (if totally unremarkable). Infant Annihilator's debut record just makes for an unpleasant experience. Believe me when I say that there is a zaftig amount of wasted potential.

Riddled with breakdowns and most of the songs are indistuingishable from one another, but this is one of the most heavy albums I've ever heard, and the guest appearance of Lucas Mann from Rings Of Saturn is really cool.
