The perfect blend of Death Metal, and Metalcore. From the technical solos, the amazing song writing in constructing perfectly excuted breakdowns. The vocals that range from high squeals, to low growls, to normal, back the a raspy scream. The drumming is what makes this amazing, a classic I might add. The stop and go action, with the brutal pounding of the head fits right into the album, and as fast paced he is, it still fits. My favorite Death Metal album of all-time, besides anthing from Opeth

Based in Northern California, All Shall Perish are one of deathcore's ensemble darkhorses; in a subgenre that is mocked to no end (akin to nu-metal), they stand out amongst the crowd and are normally treated with extreme respect. The Price of Existence, released back in the year 2006, fares nicely even by today's standards, serving as a bit of a testament to what many of ASP's contemporaries should opt to do: focus less on your image and more on the actual material. Unappealing production values and an inconsistent strength in the songcraft notwithstanding, The Price of Existence is still an overall satisfying album which presents itself as furious, yet thankfully not stupid. Frontman Eddie Hermida's shrieks and growls are definitely what make the record for me - 'cause that bastard sure knows how to deliver on those. Angel recommends: "Eradication," "Better Living Through Catastrophe," "Prisoner of War," "We Hold These Truths...," and "The Last Relapse".

Self-explanatory rating. Amazing vocals, a great variety of brutal and melodic songs, and awesome drumming (great because I'm a drummer). ASP got it right with this one.

All Shall Perish come at you at full force and never let up. Ferocious blast beats, sweeping technical solos, and intense breakdowns, ASP are the premiere metalcore-fused Death Metal band and this album proves it beyond a doubt.

Excellent deathcore. Musicianship is tight, there manages to be variety in an otherwise extremely
stale genre, and of course the heaviness of this album is just off the scales. Purists will strike
it down, but this is fun, energetic, and engaging material that the band unfortunately seems
either unable to or uninterested in replicating.

I get a lot of grief for diggin this band, but I actually like the insanely high pitched screams and I think their is certainly a good amount of decent guitar work and the drummer has some talent worth noting.

All Shall Perish is simply death metal with breakdowns. This album is punishing in all aspects of music. Flawless from the vocals to guitars to drums. Fast catchy riffs that run you over, Breakdowns that take your life, and blast beats that blow your mind. Great Album

I had heard alot of good things about these guys, so when i saw "The Price Of Existence" at the record store I always go to I couldn't help but get it. Expecting somethingd new and excitring I throw it in myCd player, and sat back waiting to get blown away. Well, what I got was a boring listening experience brought on by another mediocre "More Technical Than thou" Deathcore album. If you want to hear GREAT Deathcore, listen to Dying Fetus. If this album is on sale though i would say pick it up, you might enjoy it
