part of me is one of the worst songs I've ever listened to: "I'll paint you a picture, with
words: I MISS HER!...I like her 'cause she's smart, is strong and independent!" wow, ever
heard of show don't tell? andcas, the lyrics suck so bad, do you think I care about gettin'
them wrong? this guy can't sing for fucking crap.

"a part of me" is one of the most lolworthy songs i have ever heard. the rest of the ep isn't horrible it's just incredibly generic and trite.

Neck Deep's Rain in July might not break new ground, but it shows an immense amount of promise in such a young band. Some flat-out bad lyrics drag the ep down, and the band hasn't quite found their sound yet (they sound a lot like The Story So Far), but fans of Pop-Punk shouldn't overlook this one.
