Another killer album by the most consistent death metal band out there. Immolation continue slapping eardrums with their signature dissonant forever changing riffs. Highly appreciate the bass being more audible on this album, and larger variation within the songs. Amazing!

My second favorite Immolation album after CTAWB. Killer songs in the album like the title track, "Sinful Nature", "Wolf Among the Flock" and "Rival the Eminent" are one of the best songs they have ever written in my opinion. Terrific album!!

We all have our own corners, is what I've been taught in my adolescent years. I made a mistake during my toddler years to hide and pretend flying bugs were either not real or tickling your neck for fun. Now that I've grown older I realise these fears were creative but unnecessary. I have dreamt, while being awake, about bugs. They have never run across my face, and I thank them for that. I have made peace with these bugs, so to speak. However, this doesn't mean I'm a bug. I don't belong in the bug corner. I can see the teacher trying to cook with seething power into his eyes. You won't invent a color, I gleefully dream inside, mustering the courage to actually say it out loud. I know I am a coward, but I see the fear and angst in other people's eyes, I know I'm not different. A rumbling noise disturbs the class. The teacher looks up, bewildered. We are on the same level we have been before, but something has changed. The outside view, originally composed of a calm moon has been replaced by a foaming white/blueish wave of death reaching higher than any building I've ever seen. The teacher stumbled with his words when he said to take cover. He knew there was no cover, we all knew, despite our age, there was no cover. One person clinged to a plastic copy of a Ford Focus, as if that would help. I tried to count in seconds when the wave would hit the building we were in. I only came to three.
