No matter how many listens I give of this album, I never get tired of it. And when I do find myself wanting to hear a track from it, I usally end up doing a full spin of the album or at least half of it. The production on this albums quite amazing, this is is start of lecrae including some conteveresal topics that would later see him hated by alot of Christians like police brutality, or working with non Christian artists and it is a welcome addition to his style. This is the album that took lecrse out of the neshe of being that one christan rapper 3 people heard of at the local youth group. "Gravity" deserves every bit of praise it gets because it's an album that does so many things right that sometimes the things it does right is not even what the album was neesisarly attempting to do (like the entire album having such a strong althsteic that you would think this is a concept album), This album has aged so unbelievably well that in 2021 it sounds brand new. This is one of those albums where every feature really does bring some heat, and where the album artist is able to match that such on tracks like "fakin" and "power trips". Hooks on this album are another great standout like "free from it all", "tell the world", and "walk with me". The beats and instrumental on this album is just another aspect I cannot give enough praise. This honestly is my favriote rap album, and rediscovering it over the summer was definitely a treat.
