Great album, I really enjoyed it. Maybe with a better production this could have punched harder, but since I have no info about how the album was made, I accept it in this way. The vocals were very interesting to me, because sounded like a mixture of Dave Mustaine's vocals presented in Summoning'a style and it worked really well in this record. 80s heavy metal never disappoints.

Despite the fact that it posseses great riffs and interesting enough music, the poor production brings it down. Their follow-up is easily better.

Port Royal is my favourite however Under Jolly Roger still remains one of their best efforts. The best songs here are Under Jolly Roger, Raw Ride and specially Raise Your Fist.
