I love to describe these guys as the Tribe Called Quest of Japan: this album shaped Japanese alt-hip-hop and the underground scene. You'd be hard-pressed to find many rap albums in general that are better than this, not even just Japanese ones. Absolute hidden gem in widespread hip hop culture.
