Threshold pull off an album that works wonderfully, whether from start to finish or when singling its individual moments out. The band are catchy as ever, with excellent vocals and hooks aplenty, drawing a number of influences to create a sound that, though heavily borrowed, is still definitely theirs. Accessible without dumbing the music down (quite the opposite), March of Progress is an easy recommendation for rock/metal listeners of any degree.

Reminds me of power metal and yet sometimes more traditional styles, but remains starkly rdifferent than almost everything I have heard up to this point in 2012. Audible bass, good rguitar tone, and the vocalist is very talented. This is definitely going on my 2012 best of rlist.

An enjoyable balance between their classic progressive rock influences (Yes comes to mind) and modern metal textures. "March of Progress" is definitely one of the most interesting progressive rock/metal releases of 2012 so far and a must have for all genre fans out there.
