From the sexy bassline in "Good Idea", with Bob Mould on vocals belting out lines similar to the way Van Morrison might, to the cheerful memorable chorus and keyboard duo on the catchy "Changes", to the superb acoustic guitar ballad with a nice keyboard solo, Copper Blue is for sure is definitely an unforgettable debut from the late band Sugar, who disbanded in 1995. The intelligent melding of Indie Rock, Alternative Rock, and Noise Pop, is certainly something that can be listenable over and over again, with the nice additions of some great production and composition from the man on vocals as well.

This album seems to just have that 90's sound to it. Songs like "If I Can't Change Your Mind" leave me in a daze of awe and beauty, while cuts like "A Good Idea" keep me on my toes, for I have no idea what the creepy lyrics are about. released in 1992, it's no surprise Bob Mould would create the definitive 90's album before anybody else could do it.
