I consider this a transitional record for the band. I also agree that of their earlier records this is the one to start with if you want to see how they sounded in the beginning. Bump

By far my favorite album by them. This is really the lips coming into their own, before 'priest' they were really having trouble finding their niche, but this was where they found it. i have this on vinyl, its four lps, all pink. lots of psychedelic/experimental freakouts. if you like the new lips and want to know where they came from, this is the album to get. Bump
