Awesomely technical album from first song to the last one.

This rules pretty hard. It sees SoP move more towards full-on classical compositions with a Death Metal glavour, as opposed to classically infused Brutal Death like on their debut. It is amazing, however they get a little overly ambitious towards the emd of the album, and ideas start sounding recycled. Arpeggio shapes etc. Still a very good effort, and what could easily be labeled as «Neoclassical Death Metal».

These riffs are so intricate and complex. I hear something new every time I listen to this album. Very composed death metal. Vocals are actually pretty good also.rHowever, the guitar tone is thin and there are barely any dynamics in the way the album is mastered. For an album played in B, this should be much heavier.

normally i find all tech an abhorrent bore, but these guys are a bit different. their songs actually have a flow to them, plus occasional sections of regular metal shit (as well as a lovely intro and outro that don't otherwise belong lmao). scorched is a good song. R?ndum also has a pretty nice growl, too band he's never used it outside of tech bands
