"WHORE" still slaps! It is still a very good album even though my opinion on it has lessened, and "Adrenaline" was not a good song, let alone single.

Definitely a fun and admittedly catchy album. But it doesn't have much in the way of depth or creativity. This is the type of thing a 25 year old obsessed with Disturbed would call deep and a "masterpiece" so if that's you, check this shit out.

Fronted by the lustfully intriguing Maria Brink, In This Moment's fourth studio album in the form of Blood is undeniably different from previous works. Very much unlike the band's earlier metalcore output, this one is more experimental and - to some - blatantly outrageous. Maria's alluring voice here and the other members' contributions fit well together, but there's nothing too interesting about the album as a whole.

Sex, drugs and rock & roll just doesn't cut anymore. Nothing you haven't seen this year from any other dull metal band with a woman in the vocal position.... I'll be going back to my Light This City now.

I had no idea this band still existed. I saw the video for "whore" and based on how horrible that was I decided to
give the album a whirl for shits and giggles. Musically and lyrically it is terrible but somehow where sex appeal
has failed for other bands (be they male of female fronted) it sort of works here. As stomach churning as the
lyrical choices are you feel somehow that Maria is engaging you on a more personal level than she ever has before.
There is some fun to be found here and there too as long as you're not taking it too seriously.

Laughably bad lyrics and pop-metal in sound. Seeing them live just made it worse, as all Maria is capable live is screaming half decently and lap dancing for the audience. Waste of time
