A good album. Very consistent, whoch is just as much its downfall as its advantage. An increase in aggression from the debut, and thrashier, but with less variety. Last song rules face, and is a taste of the peoggier future that Overkill hold. However this album gets really stale towards the middle, until the last track picks it up agin.

One of the best albums from Overkill! Taking Over is full of catchy tunes and shows confidence
that makes this an outrageous record! Highly recommended for fans of Iron Maiden, Judas Priest,
Metal Church, Flotsam & Jetsam and Exodus: Bonded by Blood (1985).

Underground thrash classic, a little better than their first one, but it can't be compared with thrash masterpieces like Reign in Blood, Spreading the disease, Master of puppets and Rust in peace...Best song here is Powersurge...
