3.5 great | clercqie | August 7th 12 | The content of The Vaccines' second album is exactly what you would expect from looking at the title of the record: a step up in almost every way. The songs on Come Of Age are more interesting musically, better lyrically and more fleshed out than the ones on the debut from last year. The album is not flawless however, as filler tracks do detract from the quality of the (soon to be) singles. Nevertheless, Come Of Age is a very enjoyable half hour listen and a sign that we may expect some great things from these young fellas.

0.0 | breakingthefragile | December 6th 12 | With Come of Age, The Vaccines have essentially created a poster boy album for all the stereotypes of the 21st century wave of English rock & roll. This album's sound is comprised of music that The Strokes and Arctic Monkeys could play in their sleep, but it's still mediocre brit-garage rock in that sense.

4.0 excellent | Tangled | August 10th 12 | This record feels about ten times more personal and developed than their first effort, with a wonderfully classic feel to boot. I reckon these guys are really going to go places in the future.
