This is truely a live masterpiece, although they have released quite a few live cd's nothing compares to this CD. I prefer most of the time to listen to this live cd then to listen to the original album versions of the songs, the true highlight of this cd would be full moon, after listening to the live version of that track on this cd, i cant listen to any other version of that song now.

I have to agree with Ed Watson's review in that whilst For the Sake of Revenge won't blow you away, it is a very passable listen for Sonata Arctica fans - and for me, listening to this blew a new breath of life into old songs such as FullMoon and Misplaced which I had previously listened to death.

i think this is such a great album because it is a compilation of some of their greatest tracks and they are LIVE. I know some live albums completely suck but this one is completely different. I love it. The sound is so amazing. The guitars are really there. You can here them so well. The singing is amazing also. He can really hit those notes and it sounds so beautiful. I have never heard such a wonderfully done live album. I highly highly recomend it especially to people that havent heard much of sonata arctica. It will give you a taste that leaves you begging for more.
