The combination of slowcore and post-rock is wonderfully beautiful and sad in a sort of complacent way. Literally the epitome of music.

Actually from 17 June, hello Sputcrash. You liked that country part in Dead Flag Blues? Well, in large part this is it but over the course of 76 minutes. This is really well crafted, and scrolling to any one point will show delicate post-rock, great tones, and occasionally some guest instruments like some ? sax or some ? e-organ. But I have to say on the whole it feels it is lacking a bit of dynamics and it's always a bit of the same good stuff without much differentiation or any 'heights'. There's a point in 5 where things speed up, and I got so excited, but they very rapidly return to standard. That's about the only time the album steps away ever so slightly from its admittedly great and depthful (?) formula, and it's a shame it is the only one because that brings an album made of high quality music to at best a 3.75

Very, very pretty and relaxing, but it drags a lot. You've really got to be in the right mood to get all the way through this, but when the mood hits there's nothing better.
