The ever present riffage work well when it ties with the other rhythm based instruments, especially the double bass drum work. This debut album is a great example of stepping out of the overly generic metalcore sounds. The tracks are brutal, melodic and of a high reccomendation for metalists everywhere to pick up this album. However one negative includes how the tracks begin to blend together after the fifth or sixth track, but when listened to in a non-album form there is no need to worry about repitition. Overall a great buy.
