Punky slightly psych garage stuff; yeah it's Ty Segall! The tracks are thus all kinda simplistic yet this simplicity allows the dirty vibe to become fun, mostly in the first half - the second one dives into the uninspiring waters of simplicity. Also the last track might appeal to some nerdz, but it basically is 10 minutes of filler noise.

The only problem I had with the album were the last 2 tracks, partly because "Oh Mary" is a revamped song off of his self-titled release, which I didn't like compared to the original, and "Fuzz War", which is basically 10 minutes of filler. The rest is gold though.

Though Segall's voice rarely works in the genre he's trying for, this is another honest attempt at some old-fashioned rock'n'roll from the indie-sphere ala Cloud Nothings' 'Attack On Memory'.
