Handle With Care is a neverending riffy barrage of not so bad dumb fun. This means two things. First, unlike a lot of thrash out there, it is scarcely annoying, and when it is it is usually short lived - most shreddy passages being only short spurts, 9 being the only really faulty track on that point. The vocals are not cringe by always remaining in this angry Maiden sort of style. Second, this all also means that the album doesn't really have much plus-value beyond its execution. It is angry,quite well made, fast, intelligently short (clocking well under 40min) thrash with not much more to it. So whilst I recognise the quality, there isn't much here that would make me come back to it given this isn't really a genre that I seek. But if you like thrash this must be a banger (albeit relatively generic imo). 3.7

"Handle With Care" shows the Crossover intensity, being much more a Thrash record than Hardcore. The production is very harsh, but by the standards of that season this is ok. Nuclear Assault is a band renowned for some songs, and i believe that here was the apex of the band. Too bad it went into ostracism, but the genre has already been dead for some time already.

Nuclear on its top.
Most aggressive, most brutal, most concerned album from these guys. They are really making massive nuclear bombardment with no remorse here. Lilker`s bass was never so huge, I think he has found his sound here, later used in grindcore waters.
Great opener "New Song" followed by track after track not losing any quality. Maybe I can pick up "Critical Mass", "Emergency", "F# (Wake Up) or "Torture Tactics", but I like whole album. They didn?t end their tradition with short hyper speed tracks, "Mother`s Day" is an example. And longer one "Trail of Tears" ends this album in perfect way. Yes, I think it`s quite important for a band to have strong first and last songs, it really improves over-all impression of any album.
A classic!
