Releasing their 5th album in just 50 months, it appears that electro-pop outfit Blood on the Dance Floor will not be going away any time soon. While a case could be made that this is their best release to date, that really isn't saying much... Sure, there has been gradual growth since their horrid initial output, but all the duo seem to be doing here is masking their numerous deficiencies as best as possible. Dahvie Vanity's vocals remain awful, the guest vocals are unconvincing & 4 spoken word interludes are extra cheesy. To make matters worse, this overlong 56 minute LP is rarely fun & catchy. Recommended Tracks: Rise & Shine and Hollywood Tragedy.

I did this to myself, and this is the worst type of MySpace music that should stay buried. I understand the message, and yada yada yada; but this doesn?t excuse how cringe and embarrassing this music sounds.

Complete garbage. Blood On the Dance Floor is one of those 'music' groups who shouldn't exist. I can't understand why anyone would want to listen to this trash.

Blood on the Dance Floor's "Evolution" is a mixed bag, on one hand you have rather accentuated production values, swift electronic input with various synth hooks, Jay's varied vocal delivery and catchy beats. On the other hand, you have laughable lyricism, Dahvie's lackluster nasally vocal delivery and an overall repetitive nature. The strongest songs end up being the songs that are either focused on Jay or on making the electronic input as catchy as possible. All in all, this album is an improvement for BOTDF.
