But a complete shed of their industrial sound, lousy overdone vocals and not a single memorable hook or chorus makes this just plain terrible.

| 2.0 poor | Emethyst | June 15th 12 | Time hasn't treated Spineshank well. Although faint elements of The Height of Callousness can be heard (see I am Damage), the melodious neo-thrash soundscape of Silent Civilian ultimately overwhelms what little industrial metal remains here. Anger Denial Acceptance just falls flat in the face of expectations.

| 2.5 average | davezillaMP3 | July 30th 20 | i mean, it may be heavy but the album does no offer more then that, and their are other albums in both Nu-Metal and Metalcore that do that better. also NGL this kinda sounds like a Killswitch Engage knockoff at points

| 1.5 very poor | deadrisingx1 | June 5th 14 | It wasn't unlistenable, it just was a very large letdown. It's too bad, I was really excited about the band making another album.

saturated nu metal craze, I can appreciate Spineshank's music more when it's out of the
context of the hundreds of bands that had identical pursuits in mind. They still sound like
a watered down version of Fear Factory, sure, but just as it has with Ill Nino, the
metalcore really adds an element of heaviness to their sound on this that can actually be
taken seriously and makes deep cuts as opposed to scratches. They still seem like a relic of
the turn of the century's metal scene, yeah, but they thankfully chose to retain nothing but
the best aspects of early 2000s nu metal/industrial rock in their sound, and I ironically
think that makes for their best album to date.

| 2.5 average | Trey STAFF | June 12th 12 | I'm not going to rate it yet because I am just disappointed. These guys were an awesome mix of industrial and metal, but now... they're basically Silent Civilian (the singer's metalcore side-project) mixed with the last Slipknot album. It's not bad, it's really not, but it's nothing special.
