Yeah, it's eighties as fuck, but it's also massively listenable, and heaps better than the overrated Steel Wheels. YEAH YEAH YEAAAHHH

A bit lacking instrumentally, and as the cover might hint towards, falls victim to some 80's-production cheesiness throughout, but a great listen. Both of Richards' light-hearted tracks - one goofball reggae and one goofball lullaby - nicely cut through Jagger's snarly hard rock anthems.

With it's Dance-Rock flavored production, DIRTY WORK sounds more like a Mick Jagger solo album than a proper Rolling Stones album. It's ALMOST a good record with songs like "One Hit To The Body" and "Harlem Shuffle", but ultimately disappoints. Just not enough of Keith Richards' rock & roll influence to make this one a bit more appealing to older fans.
