When listening to this for the first time, I was turned off by it being a completely instrumetal album, devoid of any vocals. By the time I hit 'The Loved Ones', I was devoting my full attention to the album. It's utter perfection, and if any prog-freaks haven't checked this out yet, you're just doing it wrong when it comes to progressive rock.

Yes, it's neo-classical idol worship and, yes, it's as gentle as gentle can be, but In the Region of Summer Stars is too good to dismiss in these manners - all the compositions are incredibly strong and, refreshingly for the 70s, there's barely any blues influence to be found.
