aske version of sad spirit is better but no reason to leave out the burzum version, in any case burzum rulz

This is the quality of black metal you get when you sit in the basement dreaming about life on a cute farm in France all day instead of pounding beers and figuring out how to record properly.

Sometimes simplicity delivers, and Burzum/Aske is one such occasion. Simple riffs, basic drumming, but so good atmosphere and tortured vocals that I simply like it.

this is a class album ive only heard a few songs, but i can say im pretty impressed.
My Jouney to the Stars has to be one of the strangest yet best songs i have ever heard, the epic yet mysterious, and ultimatly atmospheric music, and then at the same giving thought to the title and what vik is trying to translate to the listener is an experience rarely delivered by songs. you have to just ingnore the vocals they re pitiful
