 | StrizzMatik Idk why, it's a great review and right on the nose. It's a joke of a record and I've been VERY forgiving of BC's various left turns with SP. It's just bad lol
 | DoofDoof Cheers Clay, its good to be back
 | DoofDoof 'Is a Woman' is my favourite but 'Nixon' is probably the most popular overall, and then 'Oh Ohio' is maybe the easiest to get into and most typical of their sound. They have about ten great albums though
 | Pheromone lol go for arches of loaf, I couldn't live myself if you bumped down arab further ??
 | Pheromone haha pika gave it a 1 after half of the first track, thats pika for you. you i expect better:((

 | user hope your therapy works out. the hardest thing to do is go to that first one. best of luck mate
 | BaloneyPony Yo, I just listened to War today and I've seen your comments before on stuff I listen to. Great album.
 | ArsMoriendi I agree. Rid of Me is only my 6th favorite of hers and Dry's like my 4th.

 | onionbubs I can see that a little yeah. on my first few listens it didnt do much for me either, but once i got into the other stuff from the band i began digging it a lot. lyrics on that thing, especially on dans songs are great. I'd def give goddamnit a spin. it has the most energy out of all their albums and the lyrics and vocal melodies are fantastic. you'll dig
 | onionbubs out of curiosity why do you not like from here to infirmary?
 | onionbubs you should spin goddamnit by alkaline trio. you'll definitely dig it more than infirmary
 | DoofusWainwright Never warmed to them too much, I can definitely see their influence in loads of stuff that followed. They're definitely a great band, but one I don't play to death.

 | Drifter R and g and blue carpet* dont why that got deleleted
 | Drifter Yeah they def do. Especially young, wild, and free. You should check r
 | Drifter Have you ever heard any of Snoop's other stuff? (besides Doggfather and mac
 | onionbubs Ritual is the best janes addiction youre right. Holy crap
 | Titan there are highlights for sure, all of which you've probably heard already from the singles......it became very boring for me bro and i have no desire whatsoever to listen to it.......tough weekend
 | onionbubs dude i already got nothings shocking 5d. killer band
 | Dylan620 Glad you're enjoying it as much as you are, dude. It's one of my favorite albums of all time. Seeing them perform it live in its entirety over the summer was probably the best show I've ever attended.
 | romulanrancor yeah i got them removed, i just cba rating albums anymore tbh
 | danielcardoso yeah dude, traveling without moving is such a jam. i could swear i had it rated.
 | danielcardoso not really their biggest fan, but they have some solid material for sure. in fact i've even been listening to bits from black album and master recently. i dig jamiroquai and prodigy better tho :]
 | onionbubs it's admittedly a safe return to form, but i'll take whatever i can get. will probably dig the next album unless they **** it off bad. but i think theyve learned from their past mistakes
 | onionbubs forever now is stellar imo. def my favorite post american idiot green day song. my band is covering it it's so much fun haha
 | onionbubs yeah i dug quite a bit. i feel like how much people enjoy the album really depends on how much they generally like green day tbh. especially whether you liked ai or not
 | Titan exceeding expectations for sure.....incredible
 | danielcardoso check this out clay bud :D https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K5ALxFYfFj0
 | onionbubs I liked the album. Im gonna review it for sure. Not sure how people will like it here, but i thought it was pretty good
 | onionbubs Oh, the lyrics are bad. But theyre not disingenuous (21st century breakdown), or lazy and borderline creepy (dos). The instrumentation is pretty good. Somewhere now is straight up who worship and it's a really interesting opener. Forever now is probably the best post ai song
 | onionbubs Okay. So the album doesn't really sound like bang bang. Or the t/t. Or still breathing. This album doesn't really have a consistent sound. It's green day trying a bunch of different stuff, succeeding at all of it for the most part, but it's not particularly cohesive. But it's their best album since AI
 | onionbubs Aight. Ive listened about 5-6 times at this point. Not gonna say anything else about it tho
 | onionbubs You can download the album on soulseek. I wont spoil anything until you've heard it
 | TheSpaceMan dude not sure if you're serious about checking Tool but i peeped your pie chart and since you have such a big alt rock slice and also dig psych rock jam this song, I'm almost positive you'll love it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lm38Ojh61lY
 | onionbubs And apparently somewhere now (the opener) sounds like a blend of gbv and the who, and the penultimate track forever now is a jesus of suburbia type song. So we have that to look forward to
 | onionbubs Apparently its the 21 guns/wmuwse type song, so it doesnt represent how the albums gonna sound as a whole
 | onionbubs its kind of a shame that lyrically the best of the 3 is the worst song of the 3. i think its alright, but the more i listen to all three of them i like them more. i agree this one comes off as whiny, especially during the verses. the chorus is pretty solid, but i cant say this is gonna be a highlight from the album
 | Titan https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bsjeQdEXOD4
 | onionbubs hey are you doing okay? stumbled across your depression list and just wanted to see if youre alright, though i dont know what i can do to help.
 | AngryLittleAlchemist Just don't go on dying before you me you mother****er ;) you're not allowed to die on my watch
 | AngryLittleAlchemist Dude you ok? I probably won't be of any help but you can talk to me if you ever want.
 | onionbubs yeah either or is REALLY good man. love the s/t too
 | onionbubs the music video for bang bang is awful lol
 | onionbubs im actually one of the only people it seems who likes 21cb, but a part of that is it was my first green day. but yeah i think this will be their best album since AI. i rather dig the two singles so far. lets just hope the rest of the album is as fun
 | onionbubs this new album is gonna be a lot of fun man
 | onionbubs i like it. i like bang bang more. the t/t feels a little disjointed tbh. i still like it tho.
 | Artuma well, nothing feels good by the promise ring is essential for sure (it's actually a kinda uplifting album) and yeah, obviously clarity by jimmy eat world (perfect s*** right there) as well as static prevails. you'd dig futures by them too but that's not really emo-pop anymore. for 2000s emo pop, tigers jaw's s/t definitely deserves a mention
 | Artuma great! that exact album is probably my favorite emo pop record of all time. michelle with one l is one of my favorites too but i gotta say shorty takes the cake for me. you should probably give a listen to their sophomore album, it's the album most people know them for and even though i personally prefer the raw sound of four minute mile it's very good too
 | danielcardoso Nice man! I wasn't very big on it at first listen myself, but it grew insanely hard. It's a 5 for me now, top tier rage.
 | danielcardoso Dude def jam Evil Empire then, it's my fave rage, rawer than the s/t.
 | danielcardoso Damn they're not really comparable don't you think? Ahah. Rage has the most consistent discography, soundgarden had a couple of misses but they have some of the highest highs. If i must pick, prob Rage. You?
 | romulanrancor Absolute classic, probably one of my favourites on the album (which says a lot)
 | onionbubs the lyrics on the song are kinda shaky at times (give me death or give me head comes to mind) but the instrumental elevates the song a lot. plus, the lyrics are still miles above the trilogy
 | onionbubs i was so nervous about it when i heard it was called bang bang. and keeping the production and boringness of the christmas song in mind i thought it was gonna suck. and it doesnt! they finally learned from their mistakes theyve been making since 2009!
 | onionbubs woohoo the tracklist of revolution radio is only 12 songs!
 | romulanrancor Same mate, I've only been REALLY into it for the past few months. Very solid top 4 man, all of those are incredible albums. 36 Chambers grew on me like hell, took many many jams for me to finally give it a 5.
 | romulanrancor sweet to see you're digging ready to die, it's become my favourite hip hop album ever, just a tad better than 36 chambers
 | AngryLittleAlchemist Ok. I'll probably do it chronologically though tbh, going back to Around the Fur ofc.
 | danielcardoso Great picks buddy, probably a big toss up between 'sunny skies', 'lo and behold', 'fire and rain' and 'blossom' for me ahah.
 | danielcardoso What's your favorite tune, or is it too early to tell?
 | danielcardoso Ahah nice one mate, 'sweet baby james' is the only album of his that i dig in full out of the ones i've heard, but damn is that one a beauty. Strongly recommend it buddy.
 | onionbubs the coke pepsi thing coulda been a decent one gotta go kinda list man
 | FullOfSounds Haha it's nice to see someone else who thinks White Pony is a classic. One of my favorite albums.
 | zakalwe I should really dig shouldn't I bro but he has never clicked with me. I can't put my finger on why. What's your pick for his best tune?
 | AngryLittleAlchemist Dude I don't hate all your stuff man you have some great 5's in fact we have a lot of the same 5's
 | TristarRules2001 It's more than a movie, it's the worst thing that ever happened to cinema!
 | onionbubs definitely. anti flag is a cool band too...up until 2008 haha. for blood and empire rules though. i still like the offspring and green day (one of them a lot more than the other lol) but actual punk music is great
 | onionbubs you seem to be a punk fan. check out exit english by strike anywhere its pretty sweet.
 | danielcardoso Love this tune, this and 'back to school' are their only ones i've heard ahah. Gonna hear white pony soon.
 | zakalwe Ello dude. Hear nothing, see nothing, say nothing.
 | danielcardoso Hey clay bud, take a look at my list later and do a fun little guessing game. It's pretty much entry level stuff, made it easy since it's a first time, should get harder as it goes on :]
 | danielcardoso Ahah never gave both bands a very attentive listen but i've been meaning to spin OK Computer for some time now. You?
 | onionbubs Check seventeen seconds by the cure. They have this thing called the dark trilogy and its comprised of that and the two you most recently checked out. It's great (I prefer the other 2 more, but I have porno 5d and faith is close too so it's hard to stand up to them)
 | danielcardoso Hey cool buddy, tell me what you think as you spin it :]
 | danielcardoso Ahah sorry no buddy, i meant 'And You Were a Crow' :]
 | danielcardoso Hey buddy, check out this band called The Parlor Mob. Their debut album is excellent i think you'll love it :]
 | zakalwe You agree with me 15% more than me own wife does.
 | romulanrancor Hey man, I'd rec starting with The Number Of The Beast, It's where I started and I never looked back.
 | DoofusWainwright The Smog album 'Red Apple Falls' from '97 is one I've been listening to a lot recently too, the song 'To Be of Use' is incredible
 | DoofusWainwright I can't think of anything quite like Sunhouse or anywhere near as obscure - bviously the Gavin Clark 'beautiful skeletons' compilation is a must-listen too. Zak also loves the Grant Lee Buffalo album 'Fuzzy', I've just reviewed Vic Chesnutt's 'Is the Actor Happy?' and I really love the work of Lambchop and Jason Molina (solo and as Songs:Ohia) but they're all a little more alt country and aren't English.
 | danielcardoso No buddy, they're one of the most underrated hard rock / progressive rock bands of all time, with a badass guitar and organ player and a vocalist nobody could match.
 | zakalwe In a similar vein to Sunhouse? Unfortunately not dude, nothing comes close for me. What do you think of hard sun?
 | Titan they are about equal for me. the production on BIB is perfect. the guitar tones are perfect.
 | Titan hard rock album that sold 25,000,000 copies and for good reason
 | Titan dude have you ever properly jammed Black In Black (the album)?
 | zakalwe No probs dude, glad you enjoyed it. It's never been given the credit it deserves.
 | onionbubs thanks! unfortunately, rem doesnt get much air play around where i live (that or i just never catch them when theyre on) but im familiar with a lot of their singles, especially losing my religion
 | zakalwe That album is amazing and holds many happy memories for me, as a band their not too bad at all but the rest of their discog is very hit and miss.
 | danielcardoso Cool bud, that album needs a review, think I'll get to it if no one's up for it.
 | danielcardoso You're my man !!! That rules, glad to know you dig Screaming Trees, did you see my review for Mark Lanegan's solo album?
 | danielcardoso Hey bud, check out this band called Dandelion. "I Think I'm Gonna Be Sick" is an excellent album, just looking at the cover you know it's gonna be epic ahah.
 | Titan so you like the 'Boys too?
