 | FullOfSounds Imo that's what it's strength was, not going too deep in any one style. Favorite track is either Euphoria 2K or Late Night. That piano over breakbeats man.

 | theBoneyKing The lyrics are extremely relevant, important, and powerful stuff. Instrumentally it's not as good as their best work but it's one of those albums that arrived at just the right time.

| theBoneyKing I'd put it somewhere in the middle. Even at a 4 it certainly doesn't touch YHF, Summerteeth, Being There, but I think it's at least better than their debut, Star Wars, and the self-titled. Certainly they're at their best when they're most adventurous, but I think Tweedy's a strong enough songwriter that even their less technically impressive albums have a lot to say. And even then, this album has more "interesting" stuff going on in its details than do a lot of albums of similar style.

| Mongi123 Thanks man. Cool I'll take those into account. IMO the music does capture it a lot. Like inOne Last Goodbye with that emotional guitar solo ugh. But we all hear things differently of course.

| Mongi123 Haha all good just was wondering. Idk if you've read my rev for it, but the wy they dealt with depression, fears, anxiety and pessimism on the album is perfect and not dramatized at all. Plus at the time when I first started listening to it I was going through some s*** so it came at the right time for me. I connect with it. But cool you're still gonna keep going with it cause it may be a grower for some idk :)

What's a bit surprising to me is that you're a great writer, but you barely comment and all your reviews are generally positive ones about older albums everyone already knows about.
