| Gameofmetal they were kinda a novel but popcorny blend of nwobhm, thrash and black metal split into 3 minute chunks their whole career. Really cool to see them changing things and sounding so good

| AtomicWaste Listening, but Arcane Roots sounds more like a Tesseract/Periphery style of music. Not necessarily comparable to the downtempo prog semi-metal style of The Contortionist. More bombastic to be sure. To me, there's little like the Contortionist, though Cynic is a good hit, as Talons noted below.
