ChoccyPhilly Oh yeah, he's good at what he does definitely. I just think it sounds very dated now (I never liked SAW) and him not doing anything new is exactly why I don't like it. Compared to the amount of experimentation happening in electronic music today, it just sounds like copying a former giant, and I wanted something new and fresh.

ChoccyPhilly They work with more abrasive qualities of electronic music though and I find it pretty original. it was the electronics that drew me in in the first place anyway. I mean, that harsh noise when Up My Sleeves kicks in or that glitched synth of Say hey Kid are just great

Gwyn. it's funny because this seems to be the main place for the divisiveness, or well, that's my impression. Critics jizzed everywhere over this album haha. I do think it's a bit insane how it has an 87 on metacritic considering how long the ratings for music usually are tho.
