| Ryus thats definitely useful context, i think part of it is just my own preconceptions/notions of baroque music from media, learning bach on the piano as a kid, etc. i do like those WTC pieces. i'm getting the urge to learn some pieces for piano again, maybe that will deepen my enjoyment. if not it should still b a fun exercise :]

| Ryus the bezuidenhout/faust sonatas are rly rly nice, i enjoyed them a lot. particularly the minor key sonatas. maybe im an idiot lol but to me the comparative levity of the major key ones are less powerful. i feel like ive had that issue across baroque music in general when i try to listen
