| Pennywise_M And yeah, totally listened to the new BW single yesterday. To be honest i felt a bit underwhelmed. I mean it plays like a song you'd expect from Blind Witness only more up on with that whole chuggery scene in the Metalcore these days like newer and riffless Attila, new Chelsea Grin etc. It's still decent and i'll hope for a good EP anyway. BW must be like one of your fav bands right??

Good jammings i see, i'm thinking about listening to Oceans Ate Alaska sometime soon, listened to a couple of songs from them and they didnt suck at all. Breakdown Of Sanity are pretty cool, i kinda liked Mirrors the most albeit it's over produced as ****.

| Pennywise_M I'll be resuming recordings next week, finish within a month hopefuly. By then I should become more active here again, then again I don't really know. I miss some of it, I just kinda got turned away from being around here for too long and getting involved in all these discussions while I had stuff to do, and when I'm resting to try to get me in shape for recording again I take it as something I'd feel comfortable doing when I have weeks to spend coming here everyday ya know?

| Pennywise_M Hey man! Yeah I haven't been around too much. Come here occasionally to rate and that's it. Stuff got a bit rough in regard of my musical endeavors, continuous minor health issues kept me from recording the new EP to this day, we still only got 1 single completely ready to release. Harsh climate changes and working shifts got to me, I guess. I've been living on that mindset that before I return here to procrastinate and start jamming harder again, I really need to finish it.

| Pennywise_M Not yet, friend. I haven't been too active on listening to new stuff. I formatted my pc and forgot to backup all the music i had dl'd since July of yesteryear, that got me in a rough way tbh. But the main reason is that i've been going really hard on working on my band's next EP. By now its not a good time to check new music i guess, really damn busy. I'll be back on the jamming treadmill in a month, tops! Then i will jam that. Good to hear from you man m/

 | TheBarber It was Cowboy Bebop you told me to see and yeah I finished checking them all out and it was pretty damn cool. Even though I've got a few gripes with the rhythm that's kinda broken sometimes with the constant desire to developp each character individually and seperatly. Other than that characters are all great, opening is perfect and dat ending. It's also pretty cool you can almost feel some Champloo vibes there and there although in the end I definitly prefered Champloo ;p

| Pennywise_M Oh i've been keeping up with them for the last 2 years or so, pretty interesting band! Other Slices hit me harder than anything on their first LP, and i'm expecting their new one to be huge! They're releasing a conceptual album, can't wait! Very solid band

| Pennywise_M Great rec Beef my man, i will listen to the EP asap and get back to you. That song was extremely good and surprisingly well written. Somewhat related to Erra for sure, the way they riffed through the song reminded me of Slice The Cake hard though. They too go for lengthy well done deathcore with a good amount of technicality on the riffs. Vocals seem good as well. Cheers bro m/

| Pennywise_M Hey i actually agree with that man, i happened to find a couple of Russian bands like that as well. They seem to never manage to establish their ground during a long play. It's like in Mother Russia songs write you or something lol. In the case of Shokran, i feel like they kinda have their own thing, but the songs are badly written and some of the leads/vocals are arguable choices imo. Take it all lightly man, i know you like it and i totally respect that, to each it's own. Just talking here!

| Pennywise_M Haha i see. Yeah they way it's disjointed and just kinda pointless deja-vu wankery at times, was a huge turn off for me. Plus that sequence of tracks like after track 3, all of those shorter ones with 2:30-3:00 minutes, goddamn no, don't like the clean singing.

| Pennywise_M I listened to Shokran's album, man it's amazing how they made 3 opening tracks like that and then the rest of the album feels like such a mess. Disliked it tbh.

| bloc That part I'm not too sure about...But as for the Japs always getting the bonus tracks, I think that has to do with the fact that they need to spend way more to get the physical album so the extra tracks compensate for the price difference. I remember reading about that somewhere.
