| DungeonBoy Dude, you should definitely do some tech death, I feel like you could write some real rippers.
| DungeonBoy Duuuude. that sucks about your SSD, that's my nightmare. Let me know if you drop anything new, I've enjoyed some of the electronic stuff you've been doing as well. Also, an LP is hopefully on the horizon, I have 5 tracks totally finished, and a few more I'm wrapping up. Always good to hear from you!
| DungeonBoy Hey dude, yeah man! Guitar, bass, vocals, and programmed percussion ;) Thanks for checking it out. You got any new shred stuff on the way?
| normaloctagon sweet! shoot me a dm, my discord username is deepchord
| normaloctagon lmk if youre interested in joining a sput electronic music server!
| DungeonBoy I think it helps to find someone to review your stuff that might be into that kind of music you release, and email different publications and youtube channels that stream stuff. With all my stuff I reach out to YouTube channels that promote that kind of music and it seems to really help. I normally send out tons of emails to different websites/YouTube channels, and hope something sticks :)
| DungeonBoy Thanks man! Yeah man, I did everything, I've been writing some new metal stuff in between recording a new acoustic record. Man, as far as gaining traction with your music, I wish I had some advice. I plug my stuff on here and try and plug it elsewhere as I can like social media, but a lot of that doesn't REALLY help. I'm not even sure how things happen, out of nowhere my Rota Fortunae Spotify streams just skyrocketed over the last few months from even though I released a record last year?
| Uzumaki Hi there! How?s it shaking?
| AnimalsAsSummit Thank you! I also enjoyed your new album a lot, with Homeworld and Secret Hive hitting me harder than most music I?ve heard this year. Amazing work!
| Squiggly Hey mv, just thought i would let you know i checked out your album and liked it a lot. Great sound design. Keep it up!
| DungeonBoy Hey mindleviticus, I just released a new track from my upcoming death metal EP. I'd love to hear your thoughts on it: https://www.sputnikmusic.com/list.php?listid=198117
| Mythodea Hey man, hope everything's fun and shiny! Checked your album ''My Specialty'', and it was great indeed, though I was baffled by some peculiarities with the volume, going up and down at random moments. Was this delibarate or was it the bandcamp's fault?
| Mythodea Didn't know you had another act going on, f*ck, how dedicated are you? Sometimes I'm in a mood for something moody, so I'll be checking those out, too! Perhaps with some yoga. You think they'd be appropriate for that?
| Mythodea Hey dude! Sorry for the late reply. Song is sick, chaotic and unpredictable as promised on the description! Loved especially the latter part, with the eerie piano and the odd rhythmic patterns! Some more ''triumphant'' soloing towards the end, also loved that. Impressed by the ''edm'' drum tricks, though I found the snare sound a little blunt, like it was muffled. Doesn't bring down the whole result - in all its calculated, alien glory - but fwiw, I'd prefer a more staccato, natural sound.
| Mythodea Wow, thanks for the exclusive sneak peek! I'm on vacation and haven't got the time to listen to it properly, so you'll have to wait until Monday for my opinion! I'm sure it's going to rule big time, though, dude!
| parksungjoon https://www.sputnikmusic.com/list.php?listid=196835
| osmark86 hahaha been playing guitar longer but I haven't been very disciplined ;). yeah sure man send it over and I'll have a listen!
| Mythodea Heyoooooo, look who's baking some pies! That was awesome from the get go, and the electronic finishes just give me that sweet Igorrr sound, and I guess you know what it means: soak the song in the crunchiest bass dirt you've got! Nah, just kidding, I love how it fleshes out, I think you've evolved your sound since the last time, and the drumming is as relentless as ever! Great job, man, I'll be waiting for it to drop!
| DungeonBoy Nice, okay cool! I feel like the middle sounds a little empty and some bass would really beef up those guitars in the mix. Cool ideas though for sure, definitely looking forward to the end result
| DungeonBoy hey man, this is pretty nuts. I don't listen to a ton of instrumental metal stuff, I'm a fan of stuff like Mendel, Angel Vivaldi, etc. but I've never really heard anything like this, in a good way. The electronic elements are really cool, and your shredding is solid and tasteful, which I appreciate. There's a lot going on, is there a programmed bass really low in the mix?
| osmark86 Noppslyde is noice man. didn't know you were such a proficient guitarist.
| DungeonBoy thanks for checking it out man, really appreciate it. I've been putting a lot more time into trying to learn and improve on the ins and outs of recording and mixing, so I appreciate your feedback. Are you working on any new material?
| DungeonBoy awesome man! let me know your thoughts. As far as RYM i've never actually used that site before. A couple of my EPs made it to RYM, but I'm not sure how they got there
| DungeonBoy Hey man! I got a new album out if you wanna give it a listen: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XllE-TGcjtU
| AnimalsAsSummit My band just put out a new album, see what you think: https://millicentwaffles.bandcamp.com/album/lotus-peace-processor
| parksungjoon to be fair ive never submitted anything myself either. can prob ask ghandhilion or sandwichbubble
| parksungjoon as long as it's fun i think you should keep at it :]
| parksungjoon i'll be honest i didn't notice the things he did, but that's why he's a professional and im not lol! and sweet, will hopefully check soon!
| parksungjoon "sounding real good. drums are a bit too roomy and wide compared with the rest of the instruments. kick a bit too boomy. but still pretty good imo. playing is killer" - friend of mine who does audio for a living and music for a hobby. ?
| CaptainDooRight And Yee mad skillz on the axe and the drum programming was excellente
| CaptainDooRight I wasn?t referring to sadness. Rather, passion and driving emotion
| CaptainDooRight Pretty sick dude made chops great riffs with melody and harmony great atmosphere. Would love more emotion but overall very well executed!! Make me cry next time. Hit my soul!!!! But 4/5 love it
| Mythodea Oooh, that might be life-saving! Thanks a ton, man. I do hope my bandmates and I get the project running. Who knows, maybe in a year, I'll make a list similar to yours!
| DungeonBoy holy smokes man, you got chops, this thing is riff city
| DungeonBoy dude, your new album is incredible, is that you playing guitar?
| AnimalsAsSummit Oh and since you recd me Ferraro, I think you should try Nookie, he?s been really influential to me as well in the past few years. Check out the album Beyond Blue... it is one of my all time favorites!
| AnimalsAsSummit The vapor wave stuff kind of moved past me, never really understood it or got into it. Most of the stuff I?m making right now is influenced from early 2000s electronic music and 90s new age, documentary music as well. I would not associate it w vaporwave personally (only because I haven?t heard enough to give it credit as influence) but I do find it interesting that you are hearing that. Makes me think twice about writing it off as mostly goofy, slowed down songs. Maybe a bit naive on my part!
| AnimalsAsSummit I feel you! Ty so much man that?s a huge compliment! All of those artists you names are ones I love, but I?ve actually never heard any James Ferraro before! Something to look into.
| AnimalsAsSummit And I am going back to Maverick again now cuz that is some super chill stuff man, mmmm mm
| AnimalsAsSummit Ty! I just finished your latest. I like it better than Just World, it?s very proficient and lovely prog Metal. I think the parts that shine for me are the very interesting, more chilled out moments, where you implement some nice jazzy chords and smooth textures. My favorite being probably the first break in Maverick. You also have a nice break in Technophiles. I do remember each song having some kind of break or multiple breaks, which I loved. And the unique little electronic/ synthy touches.
| AnimalsAsSummit Agreed! One of my favorite pieces of prog as of late, so beautiful all the way through. And that sounds awesome man, I?ll be sure to give it a listen tonight as well!
| AnimalsAsSummit New EP! Last release this year I promise :) https://kinggreenied.bandcamp.com/album/elemental-love
| AnimalsAsSummit New album out! https://kinggreenied.bandcamp.com/album/through-us-in-radar
| CaptainDooRight I got some Exivious and adramalech vibes in the first few minutes, then some sick benediction vibes!!
| AnimalsAsSummit its out! https://kinggreenied.bandcamp.com/album/fourth-step
| AnimalsAsSummit appreciate it man! the new stuff i'm working on rn has a lot of ghettotech type influence but i feel its a steady build off point from New Sounds, should be out sooner than later. also congrats on your new EP! i rated 3.5 but that last track is 5/5 in my book :D
| AnimalsAsSummit the new is here: https://kinggreenied.bandcamp.com/album/new-sounds
| parksungjoon https://www.sputnikmusic.com/list.php?memberid=1034220
| AnimalsAsSummit Awesome dude! I love your shoutout, you pinned down very much of what I wanted to do with this :)
| Gnocchi Thanks for making it I guess haha. Don't worry too much about my rating; my 3's are like Hawks' 6/5
| CaptainDooRight I would agree with that. It?s for those same reasons that I?ve been contemplating an instrumental album as well. Vocals has its place but if one is gonna go full composition it needs to really take the listener somewhere special and unique, unless those terms are synonymous lol. I?ve done some instrumental classical guitar pieces but never really a full album of instrumental metal. It?s something worth endeavoring for many reasons other than what?s been stated so far.
| CaptainDooRight that makes sense and I totally get where youre coming from, i cant share my music with family and friends too because they dont get the screams lol
| CaptainDooRight I have an affinity for the melodic stuff as well. Can't get enough of it especially when done well with a fresh approach. The drums are programmed. I sold my kit so i had to. I'm hugely inspired by Dissection and many others. Hey by the way I finished your album in its entirety. Its super good. I had no idea you could play the guitar like that. You have high technical ability but youre great at composing too! amazing job!
| CaptainDooRight Awesome I?m glad you like it! And that?s a pretty cool comparison. I like that band especially their earlier stuff. And yes of course I definitely wanna hear your new stuff. I?ll check it out
| CaptainDooRight mindle! whats up my old school bro, can you jam my new trvth album? i hope you dig it if you doo, https://trvth.bandcamp.com/album/inordinate-and-surpassing
| AnimalsAsSummit i like the intensity of your album man. it is far better than most prog coming out these days that i've heard and i think i prefer this style of production you have with the music more than what im used to from prog metal. the drums stick out in the best way, nice job. it sounds human.and yeah i've been putting out a lot, lots of different sounding stuff depending on who has been contributing to each album, but you'll have a lot to jam out to ! ;) i have a new lp coming jan 1 2020 too
| DungeonBoy Thanks man! that's awesome to hear :) I appreciate the kind words. I'm wrapping up a full length right now that sounds drastically different than the other two. It's recorded (better) with a classical guitar instead of steel string acoustics, and has more instruments mixed in now. I spent 2018 writing for it, and since January 2019 recording it. I'm on track 11 of 12 now, so i'm almost done. but dude listening to your stuff it's apparent how much effort you put into that new release!
| DungeonBoy 2:19 Soporific, cross fade? issue and again at 2:27 if you care, dude this sick
| DungeonBoy oh wow, dude, i edited my comment. the guitars are incredibly tight in the riffs and because of that it sounded (don't take this the wrong way) quantized to the point of almost sounding mechanical. Good job man for real, I got to solo's and I hear it \\m/. really sick fretwork dude
| AnimalsAsSummit Oh damn! I agree though at times that album can be so moving
| Gyromania What's your fb, if you don't mind me asking
| Gyromania I appreciate it. People tend to be very volatile towards me. That thread was so ridiculous
| AnimalsAsSummit i hear you w/ that, hard hat is fantastic. i think road games just happens to hit all the right check marks for me.
| AnimalsAsSummit Agreed on your view of those albums being very alien, and very good. I need to get into Tain more but, for me, Road Games and Wardenclyffe are the best. Check out Road Games if you haven't yet. Sounds like nothing else.
| GhandhiLion Thanks, I love Hassell too. You can find a lot of similar images if you search 'Navajo shooting chant'.
| dmathias52 Your album to review is Illegal Moves by Sunwatchers! Some funky Jazz Fusion/Psychedelic. Hope you have some fun with it!
| AnimalsAsSummit New stuff out: https://kinggreenied.bandcamp.com/album/world-step-shibuya-acid-test
| Hawks I might have to get on that lol. m/
| Hawks Yes it is but I?m at work so I have the time lol.
| Hawks Lmao well I?m gonna jam In Abhorrence Dementia next. m/
| Hawks It?s def not bad but just nothing special imo. :[
| Hawks Idk bro I?m not feeling this too much honestly. :[ It?s decent but idk nothing is really grabbing me.
| Hawks s*** that looks right up my alley. I?m on it.
| Hawks Fragments slayz. m/
| Hawks I haven?t but I?m gonna put it on right now. m/
| AnimalsAsSummit new drum and bass ep, more in the neurofunk realm of things: https://kinggreenied.bandcamp.com/album/bring-on-the-future
| artiswar cool thanks, I'll be checking out those and you'll be hearing from me :)
| artiswar I'm interested in your music project and want your feedback on my stuff. If you're okay with sharing your email we can shoot the s***.
| CaptainDooRight thanks bro! I gave a thorough reply to your comment in the list. I also provided an idea of a song style instrumental style, with a link on a different project that I wanted to bring to Trvth with more black in it. If I could pain you, since I greatly value your feedback, I would love to hear your thoughts on that. I posted the link in the thread you replied to. Only 6 minutes of your time. I would forever appreciate it!!!
| CaptainDooRight Sup dude check my recent list. I posted a new song. Let me know if the mixing sounds better than the last one, guitar 50% left bass 50% right and vox mid
| AnimalsAsSummit not quite the point but I have been trying to actively make drums hit harder in my mixes
| Keyblade lol yea. there are so many albums I think about reviewing but I never get around to it. think I'm gonna start getting serious about it soon tho
| AnimalsAsSummit new album out :) https://kinggreenied.bandcamp.com/album/the-train-beyond-home
| Artuma rate it then so i don't need to waste my time rec'ing something you've heard
| Artuma amenra are a recent fave of mine. heavy? check. sludgy? check.
| Artuma oh well i guess she was too hot for me anyway
| Artuma uh, that's a broad request. check my 5's and if there's something you haven't heard in there then go and jam it
| Artuma not bad at all, passionately loving karen which is great. how bout you?
| AnimalsAsSummit my band's new album is out - https://millicentwaffles.bandcamp.com/album/the-rain-gods

| teamster Ever check the band Irreversible ? I bet you would dig them ...
| teamster Check The Ties That Bind .. great album in its own right, just a bit more raw
| Pon listening now fam
| Pon I saw the prefix "disso-" and now I'm E X C I T E D
| AnimalsAsSummit thankyou dude! and yes thats my real name, my solo work i think might lean towards that more ambient / electronic tendency, and i am currently writing a new release! no idea for a date yet though
| AnimalsAsSummit thanks a lot man! i appreciate that so much. did you ever check out my electronic solo album? im going to start putting my solo work under my name, so you can find it on here by searching 'myles oliver'. there's a rapper named king green apparently lol so i think Desjardins will be my last release under that moniker.
| AnimalsAsSummit if i didn't have a certain level of hate every once in a while i think it would show that my goal is largely ineffective, if that makes any sense
| AnimalsAsSummit well i am making this for myself firstly and foremost; i consider myself lucky that i have people that find it interesting. if they don't like it they can't get ****ed. i make what iwant. people are always giving me the weirdest and dumbest critiques. im thankful that this has such a positive reaction thus far. mixed appeal being more of people i know personally. online is much more open minded overall and always has been. its how the game works intrinsically.
| AnimalsAsSummit cool! will check it out, thanks for giving this a jam. seems to have mixed appeal so far
| AnimalsAsSummit here's my band's latest ep btw: https://millicentwaffles.bandcamp.com/album/hybrid-symbiont
| AnimalsAsSummit no prob! and i hear you there... it came out wonderfully man
| AnimalsAsSummit yeah man its a great album! i also found a new love for your release 'my specialty'.... had a more in-depth listen and was very much taken aback. a profound listen.
| AnimalsAsSummit thanks so much man! that might the last king green record, im thinking i will still continue with my band count to altek and may just keep all my solo work under my real name.
| Doctuses I see what you mean. But for me, regardless of when it was composed, those two movements are just too showy and vapid. And as you know, Liszt, whose music can be equally as yawn inducing, came to father that sound even if he didn't invent it.
| AnimalsAsSummit not too much, actually. sometimes just trying to spread it through social media. basically a lot of trying and uncertainty, i also post my stuff here and rym (though i haven't had much luck w that site) but some blogs just started posting mu stuff the past few years and thankfully it blossomed into some decent notoriety.
| AnimalsAsSummit https://kinggreenied.bandcamp.com/album/geosinect-methods-of-its-growthnew electronic album :)
| AnimalsAsSummit yo never noticed you had cobra and phases group at a 5! that album is near and dear to me. a gorgeous piece of work.
| AnimalsAsSummit will do homie! here's the link to my latest solo album if you're interested :) kinggreenied.bandcamp.com/album/alexander-desjardins
| Yotimi Revisited it. You probably don't want to hear my opinion on it lol... Just a lot of influences on it that definitely aren't for me (middle eastern, jam band, psychedalia). Couldn't get with the vocals either
| Yotimi You heard the lanark artefax EP from this year? Think you'd dig it
| Yotimi Hey I like all my 3.5s. Only reason i don't love that one - and this will prob sound dumb - is too many alien sci fi effects for me
| Archelirion Gimme a shout when it's out. If I'm not snowed under with coursework I'll probably give it one :]
| Archelirion This is super obvious, but take as much time as you need fella. You COULD do an EP, but if you wanna do a full-length then don't do an EP just for the sake of it. Whatever you choose, I'm sure it'll be really cool when it comes out
| Archelirion Hey man, a while back you said you had a new release coming out probably September time - it's not fallen on it's face has it? :/
| Yotimi Yeah it's up there for me too. I think I prefer Replica by a bit overall, but Rplus7's highs might be higher (like the last 2 minutes of Americans, the 2nd half of Cryo, all of Chrome Country). His transitions seem jarring at first, but after a few listens they start to make sense and there's definitely a flow. Almost every sound he uses feels right
| L4titudes Got a few slots left for my electronic competition if you're interested!

| Greem Hi! Just released new LP. Check it out, if you want. Thanks. https://lifeless4.bandcamp.com/album/simulacrum
| L4titudes Yep. It's not very often I give a 4.5 to something after first listen. Potential 5 for sure.
| Orb Its like..symmetrical af lol
| Orb ur pie charts a trip m8
| Pon confirmed: snox is pretending to hate sunless #shocked
| Flugmorph wow hes jamming beneath the rubble im really suprised
| AnimalsAsSummit thank you! the basis for this album and albums before it (in terms of overall sound and concept) is one that lies in the various worlds encountered through dreams, and i try to depict this with the music. dreams, gnosticism, ancient cultures have fascinated me as a child and into adulthood. i find music to be a colorful way of documenting these peculiar scenes, which words sometimes can fail to do justice. i really appreciate you giving it a listen!
| AnimalsAsSummit new album out if you get the time to jam! millicentwaffles.bandcamp.com/album/a-seraphia-entwined
| L4titudes Wow, that was a trip man. Totally different territory but great stuff. I particular liked the section starting at 2:00. Wonder what it'd be like if you mixed this IDM style with your more ambient stuff.
| GmemberKills i really love it man, normally i don't like ambient with "beats" but something about it sounds so soothing. I'd be interested in knowing how you went about recording the percussion for it. I also saw you rated my last white seed release, i appreciate the listen.
| Yotimi enjoyed it per usual (and I'm not usually into much tribal stuff). As for recs, I'm really digging the new Lorenzo Senni EP that just came out. The second track kills
| AnimalsAsSummit awesome man, ill definitely check that out tonight! i appreciate the ratings man, check out my two other music projects Millicent Waffles and Count to Altek when you get free time! conceptually, they are my more collaborative projects :)
| AnimalsAsSummit will do! i listened to your latest. i enjoyed it a lot, very trance-inducing, i gave it a little shout. going to eventually get to your other past releases as well!
| YakNips that really sucks but sometimes it takes cathartic events like that to create something beautiful
| YakNips it's always nice to see you grow as a musician, seems like each hyacinth release is more refined and personalized
| AnimalsAsSummit thanks for jamming dude, glad it resonated with you! and hell yea will do, ill be sure to check it out
| sixdegrees think the only tribal ambient i'm familiar with is O Yuki Conjugate but I'll give it a go
| sixdegrees rad....any post punk tracks on this one?
| CaptainDooRight I may have asked you this before but is the levitical in your name a biblical pun and are you of the levitical priests of old
| sixdegrees I'm hoping to get into the audio engineering program at a school thats like 40 minutes from where I live. where are you working now?
| sixdegrees pretty good, finally figured out that I want to go to college after all so there's that...
| Kusangii You'll probably hate me for this, but I haven't even played that game... I've heard good rumours about it tho. Ocarina of time is still obviously the best n64 game (and one of the best of all time). I might download an emulator to try 'em out!
