 | Hawks Great to hear bro!!! So good to hear from you. Stuff is going alright with me. Normal every day BS ya know lol. Nothing too out of the ordinary. :]

 | Inveigh dude I still have those recordings! at least up to my verses on them. just jammed them the other day lol. if you want them, lmk and i'll send em over
 | pizzamachine Many thanks, now just don?t leave Sputnik ever again k? K deal.

 | AnimalsAsSummit glad ur digging it so far dude, id love to know ur thoughts once u get a solid jam in (whenever that may be)
 | OmairSh Haha nice. I would man but all I do on my mobile is use whats app and occasionally surf the web :-/
 | Voivod Thanks for the heads up, will check the album the first chance I get :-)
 | ExplosiveOranges Yeah, just got an e-mail from Bandcamp. Might write a nice lil soundoff review for it in a couple days. I'm sure it'll bring the hard riffs ov Trvth.
 | JamieTwort I have been having issues when it comes to editing lists though.
 | JamieTwort That's weird, dunno what to say bro, seems to work fine for most people.
 | Atari Are u attempting to make these lists on your computer or your phone? Oddly enough, I made my last few lists on my phone so u might wanna try that it u haven't ;)
 | JamieTwort It's essentially the same apart from you just click "[ add another item ]" when you want to add more than 5 and use the drop downs as you type.
 | Atari that's weird bro, works fine for me. are you getting some kind of error when you go to create list? might wanna bring it up to the mods sorry i'm not more help : /
 | AnimalsAsSummit Haha no u gud bruh. I look forward to it! I got a quick snippet of some of the finished new material on the soundoff I did for the album. If u wanna hear the clip, the album is Jaded Claws and Glistening Outmodes by King Green. Its only 15 seconds from a 90 minute ordeal so it shouldn't spoil much for u at all :
 | AnimalsAsSummit its totally cools man. don't feel bad haha; i truly understand, u can be sure of that :) btw i picked march 25th as the release so not too much longer before the chains come off this bad boy
 | DarkNoctus https://etherealshroud.bandcamp.com/album/they-became-the-falling-ash album's out for free [:
 | ButteryBiscuitBass No dramas bru, I've been working on a prog metal album with my buddy and not done much folk either.
 | gagnonov upload some beats on bandcamp.. i'm all ears. meanwhile, i got 2 new songs. https://soundcloud.com/ltbrownqc we could always do a sputnik mixtape of sorts and collect tracks from rappers on here
 | Shuyin :D just trolling with ya, something coming soon. and i really want to show you this because i know we're on the same page even tho we dont chat as much as id like to. great album btw
 | ScuroFantasma Hey Capt. Just wondering is there's any rough estimate on when you might release Episode 2? Really enjoyed the first Ep so I'm eager for the next (:
 | cliiint evolsuns.bandcamp.comgot the old flows out. waiting for a beat I can start over on
 | Shuyin get ready, this time im taking you down
 | gagnonov what is that smell? is it hip-hop?
 | cliiint I'm always down. just put up a new track with the stuff I wrote for our last projectwhat did you have in mind
 | AnimalsAsSummit no problem at all man, i fully understand if it doesn't end up working out
 | AnimalsAsSummit just to give u an on progress, i'm thinking i'll probably go with a march 30th or 31st release (30th if everything comes together accordingly). hopefully thats late enuf and jives with ya
 | DarkNoctus thanks bud! the album is finished and release should be in a few weeks, can't wait to share!
 | JamieTwort Listened to a song from that Sean McCann album, loved it and ordered the album on vinyl.
 | DarkNoctus https://soundcloud.com/joenoctus/ethereal-shroud-desperation-hymn :]
 | AnimalsAsSummit probably in time for a late march or early april release (hopefully)
 | AnimalsAsSummit basically to where the ambience fades out (i think it's just to the end of that clip), I have the other sections of that song that come in after in another file
 | JamieTwort Glad I'm not the only one that didn't like that album, it seems to be getting a surprising amount of love. Nice bro, me to as always haha.
 | JamieTwort Cap bro, you never commented on my 2014 list :[ Loads of stuff on there I'm sure you'd dig.
 | AnimalsAsSummit here's the unfinished track; the ambience at around 1:45 is where i'll place the solo. you can pretty much do whatever you want stylistically over it. when you're done i guess u can just send the mp3 my way and i'll work it in :)link - https://www.dropbox.com/s/j39t9f24v06yl2z/k6.mp3?dl=0
 | AnimalsAsSummit once i get these drums done on this work-in-progress track, i'll send it your way. probably some time tomorrow. i'm really pumped ur down to contribute on this release bro, its my most personal. i'll put the unfinished track on dropbox tmmrw for u 2 dl. here's a finished song to give you an idea of the thing - https://www.dropbox.com/s/q1el7s0cyxrrnzr/kg4.mp3?dl=0
 | AnimalsAsSummit any chance you'd want to guest solo on new king green? putting an album out in the spring; its very freeform in nature. obviously i'd give you all the credit for your work on it. i can send u the unfinished tracks/ solo areas if need be, of course ;)
 | Pon Why did you all your comments bro?
 | BMDrummer thanks for the jam man, almost done trvth be told
 | pedro70512 Hell if I know. I've certainly never looked you up on Last (just got an account the other day). When's the new album drop?
 | pedro70512 Last.fm lists Trvth as a similar artist to Taravana. It's meant to be.
 | Snake. why'd you get yr comments wiped?
 | TalonsOfFire Hey how've you been? RIP all your comments, now in our conversations I'll just look like I'm crazy and talking to myself haha
 | ExplosiveOranges RIP Comments. Also, YOU FINISHED THE TRVTH BE TOLD ALBUM YEEEEEEEEEE
 | BMDrummer alright i'll let you know when i got something
 | BMDrummer don't have anything on me, but i could take some winter pics since it's cold af here
 | AnimalsAsSummit Link to the new Hauntpop album is up. Have a sicknasty new year brvthahttps://hutcher.bandcamp.com/album/hauntpop-vol-2
 | Jots Do you like Vladislav Delay?
 | ButteryBiscuitBass Hey cap, check my song if you'd be so kind: http://www.sputnikmusic.com/list.php?listid=152294
 | Pon cause i could be listening to something way better
 | JamieTwort Sup bro, check out the review I just posted: http://www.sputnikmusic.com/review/64773/Little-Blood-Coagulate/ I think you might like the album and it's available for free download on bandcamp. It's a project by a friend of mine.
 | Pon aww man rip
 | Dolving999 Wow bro thanks, that means a lot coming from a well-established sputnik talent like you!
 | CalculatingInfinity Aye, that's true. Have fun with those 4 Gackt albums, I don't recommend the others :]
 | Shuyin havent seen it tbh, doesnt look like something id enjoy. besides, i had my share of swordplay/ fantasy anime after watching the berserk movies
 | Funeralopolis Thanks man, yea vocals are the only instrument I play. I've been doing screaming for a long time and have recently started trying to learn to clean sing. Unfortunately cus I live in a tiny thin walled apartment I can't really scream and I don't regularly practice anymore so my highs have noticeably slipped the most from their once quality of trvth.
 | OmairSh CaptaindooooooooooooooooooooooooNowrong
 | Jots I'm pretty sure I got him into them with my Animal Mother review
 | ExplosiveOranges That attitude will get your far in life, my friend. Can't wait until Episode 2.
 | PortalofPerfection The fact that they're so nice and so responsive to their fans and to me is definitely a contributing factor to my obsession with them lol. Anyway, sorry for the rant, will see you out of the review comments.
 | ExplosiveOranges No problem, man. Love your music, so why not give it the attention it deserves?
 | KjSwantko Damn Cap, that was a sweet with Harakiri for the Sky. You know my tastes bro! It was some sweet melodic doomy BM but still had plenty of regular metal tendencies. I thought the first half of the record was amazing (easy 4.5) but the second half wasn't nearly as intense. Overall still the best rec I've gotten in a while m/
 | evilford nice dark millennium ratings cappy
 | osmark86 thanks a bunch man, well appreciated compliments. of course I'll keep youd, you're one of me favourite sputbros.
 | osmark86 yeah, 100% me in my dusty ol' apartment. glad you dig it mate. ^^
 | Atari although i gotta say, it does drag quite a bit in spots. still a good album tho
 | Atari that Bruma album is definitely cool man. Apparentely I like the combination of black metal and shoegaze even though i know next to nothing about shoegaze lol.
 | Pon I haven't listened to it yet, but I can imagine it's pretty damn good. Predicting a 3.5-4 based on the singles.
 | Pon return of the cockatiel
 | osmark86 sure as hell is the best hobby there is. when I'm done with 3-4 more black metal/doom songs I'm putting together an album. will defo want your opinion on it.
 | DarkNoctus in any case i hope you get something out of it!
 | OmairSh Sorry for the delay. I checked your track once, and I really liked it man. Got some great melodies, and I enjoyed the acoustic bridge and transition. Gave the feeling of being in a forest. Coo stuff man, what can't you do Cap
 | Jots hey dude I liked your track :]
 | Deathbeds Listening to Black Horse Plague now!
 | DarkNoctus thank you thank you! i hope my advice is useful. and yes, yes i do! got a black metal record, the follow up to my first coming up and then the of solitude and solemn album!
 | Voivod Well I'm not a musician, so I'm not entirely sure. But I have consumed '90s prog metal by the ton, and to be honest, I'm not too keen in listening to 10-20-minute prog songs these days, but that's just me. At the end of the day, you should ignore every opinion out there and shape your music the way you want to, in order to be 100% happy with the result.
 | Voivod Heard the track twice, I liked it, but see if you can shorted the duration of the track without losing in essence. That's just me, though.
 | ChoccyPhilly I thought your track was solid and I don't think I can give you any feedback that hasn't already been said, but I'll try. I thought that the drum work could be a bit more varied; for a prog song, it seemed a bit too monotonous. I also thought that the quiet section could have used some ambient textures to beefen up the atmosphere a bit or even add a field recording - would have made it a lot more peaceful and powerful. Other than that, i think everything's been said.
 | Relinquished if u put in the work and spread your material more maybe u can land on help
 | pedro70512 Cool, I'll give it a close listen this afternoon. And don't tell anyone, but I don't actually axe. The new Taravana stuff is all done on my keyboard :P
 | Shuyin yea, i can see how that works specially since you dig going for new experimental stuff. im still trying to find my own sound, im really happy when someone tells me that i have a distinct style. now i just gotta make it sound good while keeping the identity of each track unique. fun thing about music is that, its like space exploration! even when you think youve got it all down, theres always so much to learn and improve.. and knowing that theres so much to explore makes it bittersweet
 | DarkNoctus i liked the prominent bass too. work on the placement of cymbals because it's where a lot of impact comes from and you want them at the most impactful parts, like where the drums first come in. rethink the acoustics as i just don't think they worked. good work though! [:
 | DarkNoctus i will be as honest as possible but don't fret, i did like it overall! [: i liked the melodic leads guitar, shame they sounded too mechanical. placement of the cymbals felt a little off at times. i didn't feel like the acoustic section added anything at all and even though it was nicely composed it didn't match the rest of it. we suddenly went from what sounded like melodic death metal instrumentation to acoustics and it just felt very forced.
 | beefshoes Thanks man, and yeah, I made downloading an option on bandcamp!I think Chill of November was when I was finally getting the hang of mixing and cohesive songwriting, but I definitely agree with you on the drums, My favorite track on there is probably Bare en Aande , but I mixed the vocals incredibly low on it for some reason. It irks me so much because I slaved over the instrumentation. aha I'm glad you dug it though. Do you have a bandcamp account?
 | bach nice job with the new track man. v cool stuff
 | Shuyin will do, thanks man. wont be posting anything for awhile since ive also burned out of fresh ideas and tbh i dont wanna be rehashing the same stuff
 | Wizard When I get a moment, I will definitely rip it to shreds ; )
 | BMDrummer aight shweet, look forward to hearing all 3!
 | BMDrummer no problem man, love helping others out with music they make. if this means another release soon, i'll be waiting happily :]
 | BMDrummer oh yeah man no problem, i just mean that they sound a little hollow and lack resonance. i'm not saying you need reverb or anything, it just sounds pretty treble-y, like it doesn't breathe.
 | BMDrummer mainly the drums, which sounded a little cold in the recording. other than that most of it seemed pretty good
 | BMDrummer great work as always cap, the transition was very nice and the guitar work was excellent for the whole song. very proggy and bm influenced of course, but i would favor better production since it seems like it kind of lacks a bit of that punch. all in all though, it's definitely a great song
 | beefshoes Cool, and thank you as well!Btw, if you listened to the upper most song, that was from 2010. I actually did two newer tracks that are grouped together in a different playlist. They are a lot more Ulver/Bathory influenced as opposed to the 2010 material.
 | Shuyin thanks man, its gonna be a tough moment but one must man it up. and thanks for checking the track, it means allot. i actually had the project of the final version with improved drums but it was saved on a hard drive that crashed. i only have this mp3 file now ahahah cheers!
 | Relinquished nothing blatantly egregious I could point out bro, I keep imagining how much awesome and better that could sound in a professional studio (obviously of course). great track overall, a little simple for my taste but I like how it's just progressive metal and the touches of bm influence are there.
 | beefshoes I enjoyed it, and I followed your account (Nordlig Komfort). The musicianship is really awesome, and I'm really digging the bass being as high as it is in the mix. If I could offer any constructive criticism, it'd be to raise the volume of the guitars in some areas. Towards the start of the track, it feels as if they're being drowned out by everything else that's going on. Maybe a bit more reverb on the snare drum to give it a bigger sound? Other than that, great effort :D
 | Funeralopolis I don't mind your harsh vocals they're much better than your cleans. I'm sure the album would be fine instrumental anyways it definitely has enough going on to merit it.
 | Futures of course man big fan of your work!
 | Futures awesome man. in my opinion i think vocals would fit the track very well.
 | Funeralopolis I think it could possibly use some vocals but I'm gonna be perfectly honest with you here and say I honestly don't really like your vocals much at all for the most part but you definitely have quite a talent when it comes to instrumentation. I would almost recommend you teaming up with a vocalist, but even as an instrumental it would be fine.
 | Frippertronics nice track, really not digging the drums though (i'm guessing they're programmed?)
 | Futures really loved that man. the mid section and the acoustic part especially! is this going to be on a new release?
 | Shuyin im sorry, im doing therapy right now. same old ears s***.. dont know when ill be jamming. can i leave you one of mine? i know the drums are clumsy, long story, but i think youll dig the full thing https://soundcloud.com/mindofanantagonist/the-clash
 | YakNips bruuhhhhh pretty sweet, i wanna hear it with real instruments tho!! or at least guitar. i rlly like it thooo, lots of cool stuff going on
 | Funeralopolis Killer track, are those 3 new songs you released going to be on an album? This is some of your best stuff yet. Its Height is still my favourite because I love the hell out of the bass on it, but I'd rank them: Its Height, Orgasm Forest, Flame. All rock doe.
 | Archelirion Haha, oh jeez that song title! The track sounds fantastic. Hope it doesn't sound like I'm detracting from the first half as I did like that, but the second half of the song (i.e. 3:14 on, you know the bit!) sounds absolutely fantastic. Got the amount of repeats played before a variation more or less spot on. How long did it take you to write?
 | evilford hahaha. I live in Iowa. you live in CA right?
 | evilford nah man none of my friends like metal. it sucks haha. it's alright tho I love my friends, just wish we shared some musical taste. but no generally we go hang out at bars or go to movies or just hang out at our house and drink and play board games and stuff lol. we're boring old people...that's cool you're getting together w/ your old bassist to jam, sounds like a good time :]
 | Pon it's a show anyways i think i'm gonna log out for a few days and when i return i will have a masterpiece for you bye bye
 | Pon dude check out the big lez show on youtube if you didn't get the reference i'm always smokin weed who doesn't love that s*** it's good for you
 | Pon you fukken druggo
 | Pon got something cool envisioned lots of flowers n feathers n vines n beams of light n s***'s gonna be mint yo m/
 | theNateman No problem about the feedback! You're a talented musician, and I cant wait to see how you progress!
 | pedro70512 Clear is good with the style you've been using lately. Or styles. I'm playing around with mixing and production myself on AVC and it's coming out nicely so far. I've found that using a low-pass filter seems to eliminate unwanted clicks and hiss from the tracks, for instance. Yeah man your instrumental stuff is nice. I can't pin down your clean vocals...they're not bad but they didn't quite work for me at times on the last album. I need to spin Black Horse again, speaking of that album...
 | pedro70512 I liked the song a lot. You've got a distinct production style that emphasizes clear and bassy sounds in the center while everything else floats around it. It's cool. Will you add vox or is it just instrumental?
 | Pon I'll try to get it done in a week from now, sound good?
 | Pon I WILL get it done man, and I promise it'll be 10 times better than the first pic. I've just had a difficult time finding motivation for anything for various reasons. Sorry to keep you waiting D:
 | Deathbeds Heliogabalus is so good. Thanks for telling me about it!
 | pedro70512 aight thanks. hope you have fun whew wherever you're headed
 | pedro70512 just posted the guitar tracks for another song. they need to be equalized and smoothed out tone-wise but it's a good framework. any thoughts? https://soundcloud.com/taravana/higher-fear
 | Pon Ah no worries man, I promise I'll get it done soon :3
 | Jots Did you dig the review? Anything you think needs work? I always like a bit of constructive criticism and metal is more your bag than mine
 | Pon Sorry I didn't get the art started in time, I'm still gonna draw what you asked and maybe you can use it for a later release if you like?
 | ExplosiveOranges Well, thank YOU, my friend, for continuing to create awesome stuff and supporting my passion for reviewing music.
 | Greyvy slowly working my way up ;)
 | pedro70512 oh god I haven't even bothered with the artwork, I think it's all just my artist picture. thanks for listening to it all though, haha. it's a total hodgepodge of ideas and song pieces. yeah I don't have the time to really button this thing up at the moment but I'm glad you like the demo stages. I'll give the rest of your new stuff a listen shortly
 | pedro70512 yeah that's the right one. I dunno man, the more I listen to it the more I realize how inept I am at mixing haha. it's one of seven continuous pieces.
 | JamieTwort lol, corny as corn on the cob. Btw bro, I listened to your previous album Approaching a while ago but I'm not sure I ever got back to you on it. I def liked it but I'd need to give it more listens before giving any more detailed feedback. I remember thinking the album got better as it went on.
 | JamieTwort Sweet, I will check soon and give you my (inner) thoughts.
 | pedro70512 awesome, I'll give it a look. god damn you record a lot of music.
 | Jots Sweet will check...
 | Pon Nice to see you dug krusseldorf
 | pedro70512 dude, the production values on this are legit. it sounds awesome and it's a great jam. how did you do the drums, programmed or electric kit? not really getting the BM vibe though, more like prog metal a la Echos of Eon...I'mma just go ahead and download this to listen to it while I work tomorrow. great work so far.
 | Jots sweet man, if you ever upload it to bandcamp or whatever shoot me a link and I'll probably try and do it some justice
 | Jots fair enough, I actually like how restrained it was. any upcoming releases you're stoked for? I'm thinking of trying my hand at a BM review..
 | Jots You didn't like Cryobiosis that much?
 | pedro70512 that section is going to go into a piano/violin duet, actually. but that same riff is going to come back during the finale and that's when I'm going to vamp it for days under chanted vox (see comparable: Caladan Brood, end of "Book of the Fallen"). damn, I'm in Connecticut. I'll probably end up in California though because that's where the music careers are at.
 | pedro70512 thanks man. yeah I'm hoping to lay down the drums for that last riff and get some vox in today but my folks are on my ass about my senior thesis (and that has a deadline, unlike this). where do you live? I've probably asked you before. also, I remixed the drums a little for better panning.
 | pedro70512 almost got the drums finished. this what you had in mind? https://soundcloud.com/taravana
 | pedro70512 that tiny drumset is my favorite thing in the history of ever
 | pedro70512 this is the same guy that did Black Horse Plague? haha. I like the sparse, crazy piano work and how you fit the disparate parts together. the high vox are totally Sigur Ros, which isn't my fancy but I really like the last two minutes or so. actually, that last jam totally sells it. I still can't help but think of Three Little Ships with that bouncing synth line, and therefore the Black Satans video XD
 | pedro70512 yeah man I'll queue it up. thanks, I'm spending a lot more time on the harmonies in this one since I'm recording it myself. you hit the nail on the head with the atmospheric BM drumming. I'm not going to to Paysage raw but Diadem of 12 Stars might be a good starting point.
 | pedro70512 Yeah I'm pretty decent at them I think. At least it sounds good in the car, haha. New link. https://soundcloud.com/taravana/the-spectre
 | pedro70512 Yeah I'm pretty decent at them I think. At least it sounds good in the car.
 | pedro70512 https://soundcloud.com/taravana/the-spectre_wip-1A little something I put together today. Adding drums and vocals tomorrow. Vox will be half clean, half At the Gates style.
 | ExplosiveOranges Dude, I'd love it if you'd shoutbox me when the new Trvth album goes on Bandcamp. Not that I wouldn't go out of the way to find it myself, but I'd just like a friendly reminder, ya know?
 | Pon I really like it, don't hate me for this but I get a little bit of an Animal Collective vibe from it. Am I also right in thinking that track ties into something bigger?
 | ScuroFantasma I think you did a really good job of this one. I really like the atmosphere and the inclusion of the running water in the background. I'll definitely check the album out when you release it.
 | Hawks Damn, I might just buy it off their Bandcamp.
 | Hawks Got a link for that new Spectral Lore album by any chance bro?
 | Pon Oh sorry, I mean when I re-do the first picture seeing as I'M not happy with it lol
 | Pon Nice, if you're happy with the first picture then I might try my hand at something a little darker
