  • seedofnothing its that time again. although I mainly write metal, I enjoy writing other softer styles of music as well. with that said here are 3 new ones at www.youtube.com/seedofnothing. "Blisters in Gold"(all keyboards- classical style), "Alter"(only bass and delayed guitar-darker jazz), and "Divide"(odd timed bass and guitar only-blend of classical and jazz). I highly value your feedback. Enjoy my other side!

  • seedofnothing if ur using a recording software program you should always do peice by peice, I do each part separately but all the way through. I'll usually do the guitar and drums first then the bass and I always do vocals last. And in increments, meaning ill do the first couple riffs with drums and bass, then stop the recording, then record some more, this prevents mistakes while playing. If you played it all the way through there could be too many errors.

  • seedofnothing yeah for sure, i went from a thrash phase, to a progressive phase, ive never fallen out of the death metal phase, too much good stuff there especially old school stuff. but im digging black metal of many sorts, particularly black metal with folk fusion

I wanted to see if you check out a song that I wrote at www.youtube.com/seedofnothing called "Oppression", its the first one you'll see there. I write it all and produce it my self. and I know you have a thing with programmed drums but I dont think it will bother you with how I did this song. please check out, let me know what you think
