  • SeaAnemone thats because you don't know what either are. so when did I contradict myself?

  • SeaAnemone I used vague descriptors because I didn't know I would have to explain every tenet and history of pop-punk to you, but obviously I was wrong... just because the descriptors I used DOES NOT MEAN THERE ARE OTHER FACTORS OF METALLICA'S MUSIC THAT MAKES THEM METAL. are you serious. like are you kidding or something lol?

  • SeaAnemone I said Wonder Years are pop-punk. Metallica are metal.
    June 28 12:43 AM
  • SeaAnemone no metallica are metal-- just because they have some similar elements to the ones I listed does not mean they are punk. jesus christ I'm not going to list every element of pop-punk music for you here, it's pretty self-explanatory and not that hard.

  • SeaAnemone for the record I think that The Wonder Years and that popcore bulls*** is really ****ing horrible.
    June 28 12:29 AM
  • SeaAnemone speedy tempos. loud guitars. common punk themes (well, more pop-punk but whatever). hectic chord changes. gang vocals. all are very common elements of pop-pun music. keep in mind you still don't have a clue what punk is.
    June 28 12:29 AM
  • SeaAnemone ok that's because you have idea what the **** punk is either (evidenced by your list). just lurk around in legit places for a while and gain some knowledge about things before you make presumptions please.

  • SeaAnemone pop is a genre of music-- or an aspect that can be used to describe music. it is separate from the term popular. for instance, artists like Bat For Lashes, Cake, Coconut Records, and a myriad of artists are pop artists but their music isn't very popular.

  • SeaAnemone no. they're pop-punk. the pop in front of punk does NOT stand for popular you idiot.
    June 27 10:50 PM
  • SeaAnemone oh so popular pop-punk is the only good punk? (ps: you know the 'pop' in front of 'pop-punk' does not stand for 'popular,' right? lolol)
    June 27 10:24 PM
  • SeaAnemone "pop-punk sucks" Blink-182: 5... what am I missing, here?
