| CaptainDooRight Ok so I checked it out and sorry man I didn't like it at all. The vocals where a turn off and the music imo was poorly composed for what I look for in music. I listened to two songs and one additional video of them playing live and I'd 2.5 the album if I were to rate it.

| Wizard That's the band from Canada and their new E.P. is amazing. Alot of the stuff I usually rate high can't be compared to very much and that's why they make my list. Also, Torche's new album will be number 1 or 2, that band is seriously underrated and does metal in the catchiest ****ing way.

| Wizard Inverloch, Nadja with Vampilla, Philm (what the ****, drummer Dave Lombardo from Slayer's solo band is ****ing ace), Tempest, Torture Chain, Wizard Rifle (probably the best prog metal you will hear all year), Wodensthrone, Author and Punisher, Dawnbringer, Alderbaron have all produced amazing albums and I advise you to get on these releases. I'm probably missing a few but I think you will find I cover most of my sub-genres in metal.

| Wizard Thanks dude. I hate when this site latches onto one of these "sweet little metal bands" and totally blows them up to be something much bigger than they really are. I think that's part of the appeal with Gojira though, I can't listen to their stuff for days on end but when I do listen to it, I'm thoroughly satisfied.

 | Rail I guess the quiet, tense build-ups make me think of Twin Peaks, whereas when those fuzzy guitars and drums kick in I picture a chase in snuff film. Tenuous connections, probably, but that's what I've got out of it thus far. Great album though, and thanks for the compliment!

I would advise you to wait at least a month before uploading, but thats just my thought.

| Oathbreaker I won't neg a review with a wrong rating if: A) it makes it absolutely clear that is is given from a subjective point of view with the sole purpose of transferring the reviewer's emotions regarding the album in hope of comfy discussion and circlejerking B) if the album treads difficult path and any rating on it's own is difficult to get down to

| Oathbreaker I'm sorry but I just don't agree with the whole "don't neg because opinions" for 90% of the cases. If I consider an album to be blatantly bad from any sort of perspective and outside any subjective influence I also consider a review that tells me it is "superb" a bad review. You're saying things that I consider to be wrong and thus your review is not helpful. As I said this doesn't stand for every case.
