| GnarlyShillelagh like gkmc did, but the second time i heard it things started to make more sense. that how much a $ cost is a god level cut. i think this is the type of album that you have to hear front to back. tbh i wasn't even feelin it like on my second listen until i got closer to the end, and it wasn't till i finished the album that i was really into it - s*** is a glorious feat for kendrick, and i still haven't even begun to unpack the album really. haven't paid much attn to the lyrics so i have yet to ca

| Jom Hi there. That wasn't intentional, but it is a byproduct of how the owner codes things. I'm happy to add flags to those reviews and will do that now. Like I told FromDaHood (see his shoutbox), I would strongly urge you to consider reapplying, especially if you can articulate why you had a slower year than what you were accustomed to (IRL activities trump the Internet, which I totally respect and empathize with) -- please consider it!

 | Deviant. You should be able to go back in and edit them back to normal format. Just look for where the breaks are in the article, and make sure there are no double spaces at the end of the line breaks when you're editing

| hogan900 Holy Jesus, I had no idea and that's my favorite song from The Future is Cancelled! It sounds like it is played in reverse, the atmosphere is far different and the emotions encoded are quite different. But they seriously are the same guitar... I had no idea

| SadAndHolyGlow No worries, man. I don't think you bump-blocked me. I really enjoyed your review, too. I understand why people aren't the fondest of it, I think. They changed their sound and mood a lot; this album was much more subdued than their previous work. I definitely think they did everything to the best of their ability on it, though. Also, I'm not aware of the context of it, but that was nice of you to post that message in Yaknips' shoutbox. :) He's a good friend of mine.

Im looking forward to the new Menzingers album, but as you probably know, I thought their last was a little overrated around here, so I am keeping my expectations in check.

| GnarlyShillelagh ye i feel pretty much the exact same way except i didn't like oxy more on [intentional] the cohesive point; i still thought habits was a better album as a whole. also oxy is really starting to wear off me... to the point that idk if there's any song on the whole album that i'll care to listen to in six months. maaaaaybe a couple, but none of these slap like the cuts on habits.

| HolidayKirk You know. I never got around to listening to it. I heard "4:30 AM" and thought it was amazing but I never listened to the album. I think he's stretching his legs stylistically and I'm not worried about the direction he's going in. I guarantee his best work is ahead of him.
