 | DotEight Well it just got too hard to try to make the shop and everyone happy and get through school. And I definitely wasn't going to quit school. I don't live in the right area to get "noticed" as AM anyways so I knew it wasn't going much farther than some flow from DC and local shops.

 | JokineAugustus Alright for prog checking out rush is a great start. Hemispheres, 2112, and Moving Pictures are all classics. Gotic is another great start, though they are a bit more folky in parts of their one album. Indie is harder to rec, but so far I really like Planet of Ice by Minus the Bear and Dot Hacker's debut album Inhibition. Radiohead and Arcade fire are also great starters.
