 | Futures those are the best kinds of discogs. megadeth also has very distinct eras. as i've gotten older i've really grown to appreciate bands getting out of their comfort zone and not making the same album again and again.

| Futures oooh that's a good one! loved dead end kings back in the day but that's all i've heard. should definitely get to them sometime. and it will be interesting what you think of megadeth! some of the catchiest riffs you'll ever hear.

| Futures dude my bad missed that shout was manically finishing my last review way too late haha! megadeth is def worth a revisit, would be curious what you thought! but i totally get it. keeping up with new music at times feels like a rat race and a competition. the most rewarding thing is going through a legendary bands discog in full even the bad ones. did that with sabbath last year, they became an all time fav. was so fun.

| Futures thrash was really a huge blindspot for me too. saw metallica last year, the band that got me into metal and figured you know i should try more thrash lol. now i'm gonna dig deeper, it's a fun genre. maybe the purest form of metal. and yeah his vox are obv an acquired taste but man just give rust in peace another shot. becoming like a top 5 album of all time for me. and yeah i feel that. i took a huge break from new music, like 6 years of nothing but i found that passion again recently.
