  • EaglesBecomeVultures haha for sure man. any recs you wanna throw my way? i've been trying to get the punk and emo kids into modern baseball. it has this youthful and endearing quality to it that always puts me in an awesome mood. modernbaseballpa.bandcamp.com

  • Hep Kat oh and check out heckle. and if you want more after that i'll give you a longer, more detailed list when i'm not so tired
    December 28 02:57 AM
  • Hep Kat just check out world war 4's demo if you're itching for more floorpunch. but some essential njhc bands are nj bloodline, vision, turning point, mouthpiece (just put out something new), adrenalin o.d., purpose, strengh 691, etc. some good newer njhc bands are good times, troublemaker, black kites, wise guys, altered boys, suburban scum, hood ratz, old wounds, disobey, etc.
    December 28 02:55 AM
  • Hep Kat bought it. but yeah, you should make a 2012 list man
    December 20 07:16 PM
  • Hep Kat yo son where u been
    December 19 06:38 PM
  • MuhNamesTyler Thanks man you're awesome. I'm like total entry level on this kind of hardcore and that website will help a lot. It's crazy how turned off by some vox I can get. Finding an awesome band in this particular style (for me) is like finding a needle in a haystack. haha
    July 8 06:43 AM
  • MuhNamesTyler That Bankrobber band you rec'd on that hardcore list is sick. Know of anything else that sounds like them, Harm's Way, (old) Your Demise, Suburban Scum, etc??? I'd appreciate it man

  • LifeAsAChipmunk Hey, bandcamp is a wonderful place (because I can get good sound quality music for free). I actually found them as I was searching for another band - this type of thing actually happens quite often.
    July 6 07:12 AM
  • LifeAsAChipmunk Hey, check this band out, some of the best twinkly newcomers I've heard in a while. http://badgerhunt.bandcamp.com/album/the-first-hunt-ep

    June 2 06:12 PM
  • LifeAsAChipmunk Thanks, I didn't know there was a review for it so soon. It is really good, but I only got to listen to it like 3 times through, I still have a hard time differentiating the songs, so I'll have to re-listen to it sometime soon.
    April 23 06:30 PM
  • TheJackal haha i think its already too late...I've only been properly been listening to hardcore for a couple of months, but now its all I listen to. I blame Refused

    March 19 07:53 PM
  • Sowing would you mind writing a very brief (5-10 sentences) summary/soundoff for the song you chose for the sputnik playlist? i think the feature would look a lot better with writing. if so, please let me know and email it to sowingsputnik@gmail.com. thanks again for being a part of things!

  • Spec I didn't sell out son, I bought in.
    January 25 04:08 AM
  • porch yeah no problem. the list is one album per band so i'll just mention the bands and you can take it from there: les rallizes denudes, skullflower, the birthday party, swans, scratch acid, big black, cows, brainbombs, helmet, the jesus lizard, the men. most of those are classic releases, just get em all and see what sticks

    January 19 02:31 PM
  • sniper i obviously think its the s*** but i'm not really surprised it isn't as well-received by everyone. most people here aren't into the darker/heavier emo bands.
    January 17 10:37 PM
  • sniper nope. still think it's a 5 though.
    January 16 06:47 PM

    January 14 09:52 AM
  • silentpotato thanks man! i'm really glad you liked it! haha Snake Fetus is a little more digestible tbh, its not as lo-fi and obscure. It's just progressive-ish metal stuff, i think you can handle it haha.
    January 12 04:24 AM
