 | Hawks It's like a mix of brutal death metal and black metal with horror movie themes and s*** like that. It's so good and I'm pretty sure you'd dig it.

| Xenophanes It's the dynamic shifts that get me. I mean, I hear people say how homogenic it is, but seriously, it's so full of ups and downs and such. Not to mention the atmosphere of the whole thing is absolutely wonderful. Perhaps I'm just a death metal 'noob,' but these are things that stuck out.

 | Willie Cool. I haven't heard their debut, but I think I'll avoid it. The clean vocals weren't bad and at least they kind of changed things up a bit, but they were definitely kind of whatever. My complaint is that all of the songs seem to be aimless (after one listen, anyway).

| Metalstyles You need to write an indie review bro, like, give it a 4.5, don't go for a 5 because that's too much, but a 4.5 will do. Also, you don't even need to like it, just blatantly lie, but make the lie a good one. Then you'll be staff in no time cuz everyone are going to be like "man Crysis is really stepping it up, look at the diversity!"

| Metalstyles I did not apply because I simply feel I am not ready to be staff. My writing has a lot of development room and I wouldn't have wanted to become staff to be honest because I myself feel I definitely don't deserve it yet. Besides I do think I can and should improve my English further too.

 | jingledeath Wow 4 years. I haven't been banned on this account yet and I think I'm almost at the 3 year mark. And good luck with making staff, I'm pretty sure getting banned once won't hamper your chances at all.

| Hawks Yeah I asked Willie about the whole process and he said it's just a spur of the moment thing and there's no set time on when they announce it. Has me pretty damn anxious, that's why I've been working my ass off lately and reviewing so much lately.

| HSThomas That's taking banning to a whole new level. We have freedom of speech here lol. Well I do hope you get a Staff position. Maybe you can do something about it through influence or something like that. From what I've seen and heard, apart from that incident you've got a pretty good record with the Mods and you do activelly contribute to the website so I so little resistence in you becoming a Staff Reviewer. All I can say though is good luck with it.

| HSThomas I do get your point. I remember browsing through the ban threads forum once and seeing people doing all kinds of crap. I remember even one guy got banned for promoting hatred, cocaine use and anti-americanism. I have to admit though I've seen the Staff behaving like a bunch of complete bastards on occasions, mostly when people disagree with them on the "Sputnik" bands and yet they're rarely banned for it. I mean seriously, something's got to change.

I kinda got into it with Butchered about the whole Mayhem thing, but we took it to the shoutbox. Everything in there is pretty much pointless and doesn't relate to the actual news at all.

| Relinquished Apparently the staff/mods had been talking about it for a long time but they finally decided to go through with it since all those people with alts decided to scat it up on the review pages and a bunch of websites were threatening to drop their affiliation with sputnik (probably metacritic mostly).

| Relinquished By June, Sputnik is taking the userbase away from the reviews beacuse of all the scat trolls and such. Reviews will have to be turned in via email. Eveyone will be restricted to the forums. Some of the contribs will be staffed and they get review access.
