 | Luffy I checked South of Heaven and Reign in Blood, and the only song i really liked was Silent Scream. I should check out Seasons though. I see you're digging Devin Townsend, have you checked the Devin Townsend Project's album Addicted? It's a fun record. I'm about to check his solo material/strapping young lad, could you rec me an album to start with?

| Luffy I know what you mean about really wanting to get into a band, but sometimes it just never works, like i could never get into Slayer. I tried several times but it never clicked. About Overkill i only checked Ironbound and i love it, and i see you 5'd The Years of Decay so i'm gonna check that next week.

You could check Carcass - Heartwork, probably the first melodeath record ever. I can't get into it but people love it around here.

| Kimm Oh. I just thought maybe you were because you like Skillet haha. They have a powerful Christian message. And because you care so much about lyrics, I thought maybe you were evasive of "worldly" undertones or something. No, you just like to understand thelyrics. That's cool. | Kimm They're one of my favorite bands. Check out their song Talmidim (The Servants). It's a soft song, so not true to their typical style but I absolutely love it. For something more true to their style - Devastator.If you feel like it, check out my review of their first album and let me know what you think. That album isn't their strongest, but Portraits and Breaker are incredible, at least imo.

| Kimm Welcome to the site! A helpful hint: even though it's hard to resist, don't fuel the fire when you're getting trolled. When I first joined I got trolled so hard my first list got taken down by the mods after getting over 800 comments in the first day of it being up. Lyrics are incredibly important to me, but most people here don't see music that way. I got a lot of finger wags for focussing too much on lyrics in my lone review. Speaking of which...do you like For Today?
