| xenocide. I enjoy some dark ambient (Lustmord, Ulver), so I definitely will check that out!
| DeafMetal yes drowning the light rules. didn't know there was a new forgotten tomb album. i'll look into those, thanks man
| DeafMetal where you from man? i don't really like new pestilence that much either haha. thanks for the native american recs too those are awesome!
| xenocide. I can understand Houk, their style was close to this of early HEY, something like grunge. But Dr. No? It's a horse of another colour. Also, they disappeared soon after their debut release, and are now remembered by few.
| aok holy crap spacemen 3 is good. where did you find that one?
| xenocide. I like HEY since their first album 'Fire', but I never thought anyone could like them outside Poland. Nice to find you, mate.
| DeafMetal to you too man, been completely baked since i woke up this morning!
| DeafMetal What are you listening to lately bro?
| DeafMetal What the hell are you doing in India man? That rules! Glad you are enjoying the music/lists. Made a Marijuana Metal list recently, all albums are essential to aid you in your blissful THC-induced journey!
| Hyperion1001 No problem man, there weren't that many mistakes, just a few misuses of words. I'm always glad to meet cool new users. Keep up the good work!
| DeafMetal I have not heard of them, but I'll check out your review. Who would you compare them to?
| DeafMetal Nice M8L8TH and Morbid Angel ratings too.
| DeafMetal Yeah man I did. Has that The Bees Made Honey feel to it. I like it a lot, thanks for the rec bro.
| vanderb0b Awesome, I didn't know that anybody else on Sputnik knew about that film! It's one of my absolute favorites, and also one of the first films that I ever saw, along with Hedgehog in Fog (also by Norshteyn). Cheers!
| Nikkolae you are compleatley entitled to that opinion but imo its pretty much a classic doom album, it was one of my first rushes with doom metal so you could say that influences my ratings alot but its in no way a bad album, its actually quite enjoyable, atleast for me it is
| Departures ok good, well thanks for lending an ear
| Departures I'm sorry to hear that, hopefully I didn't waste your time
| Departures thank you I'll go through them tonight, and your welcome
| Departures probably the second, fourth and silent hill:homecomming although none of them will have as much depth, they do come relatively close
| Departures Cold by Lycia reminds me a bit of the Silent Hill soundtracks
| Hawks If you were talking about the Steelers' game, it was already played and they won haha.
| Hawks I'm sure you'll enjoy it. And thanks a lot man!
| Hawks Hey man, I know we haven't interacted here, but I noticed the conversation between you and Voivod and since he rec'd you some bands from Greece I figured I could give you one as well haha. Check out Unspeakable Cults by Deviser. Really awesome melodic black metal.
| Voivod I haven't listened to Dead Poem in a while, but i remember that "Ira Incensus" was an incredible song. Apart from that, the record as a whole is good, good flow overall.
| Voivod Dead Poem is great, afterwards find Triarchy of the Lost Lovers and Non Serviam.
| Voivod I listened to 1000 Funerals, excellent material, so mesmerizing. Thanks for the rec.
| Voivod hope to hear from you soon!
| Voivod so keep it to yourself or to your close colleagues for a while. I'm telling you, Sputnik is the ideal place for you to search and discuss music, since you cannot find information from the press or from concerts. As for bands from Greece, i will give you two names for starters: 1)Rotting Christ (black metal) and 2) Septic Flesh (black/death metal). Both bands rule. Delve into those and i will recommend you to more names in the near future. Take care man!
| Voivod I'm so sorry for the status of music lovers in the Middle East. Here in Greece, the religious establishment used to have a tremendous influence over peoples' lives, but people - young people stood up - and now this established is isolated into its convents, not affecting anyone with their narrow-minded convictions. Sputnik is a good source for music and highly credible. In most cases, if a record is "bad", it IS "bad". Authorities in your country may not be aware of the existence of Sputnik
| Voivod I know for a fact that middle-east metalheads have severe trouble from the established religious regime. How are things now?
| Voivod Iran? cool! I'm from Greece.
| Voivod cool! Thanks for the input! From which country do you come from, my friend? Just curious, if you don't want to disclose it's ok :-)
| Voivod ok i wrote some comments on the respective threads for your reviews. Good to know that you review stuff that I'm barely aware of. Feel free to read some of my reviews too and leave a comment, if you like :-). By the way, where are you from?
| Voivod Thanks man. Well it happens that i have a very strong opinion about some controversial records and i intend to express it, without crossing the line of common decency. I intend to write a counter - review for it sometime. 34,788%...Complete is criminally - if not TERRIBLY - underrated!
| gamwtinmanatus the download doesnt include the last song(The last one),which as you mentioned should be epic.this is bad
