 | VlacDrac You should definitely start with the so called "Atlantic Trilogy" this albums are Houdini, Stoner Witch
 | syco722 Im sorry to hear that, they're phenomenal live. I've seen them 4 times so far, I'll be seeing them in two weeks at the New England Metal and Hardcore Fest, and once more in May. I sure do love me some btbam haha
 | syco722 Hell yeah man, I listened to the stream the other day and it was fannntastic
 | syco722 Haha yeah dude! In my opinion he definitely deserved it. I went to go see that movie solely to hear his work on it and it did not disappoint. Pretty good movie too!
 | syco722 Ahhh Im sorry to hear that man, I guess it's just not really your cup of tea, but hey it happens! NIN is sort of a one-man band you could say yeah. Its really just Trent Reznor recruiting a group of musicians every album or so and working on music with them
 | Spec Be sure to listen to Sound/Light. "Reality is no fun at all, so don't forget to drink tonight." :)
 | MrHigh it is totally worthy of a 4. The infamous dev production, the diversity in songs, the extremely interesting and almost out of place moments that seem to find their niche. It is really great. Go re-listen haha
 | Spec Here's what you do. Listen The Pants Situation- The Ugly Man http://www.mediafire.com/?g1jxocxbm8fccue and The Dudes- Brain Heart Guitar http://thepiratebay.org/torrent/3727166/The_Dudes-Brain_Heart_Guitar and you will be happy.
 | syco722 Haha well I listen to a little but of manson but not enough to really be knowledgeable about his music. I would say from what I've heard though that they're not really comparable, personally though, I prefer NIN.
 | syco722 Pretty Hate Machine - Head Like A Hole or SinThe Fragile - We're In This Together, Just Like You Imagined, or The Day The World Went AwayThe Downward Spiral - Ruiner, Reptile, or CloserThe Slip - Echoplex or Lights in the SkyWith Teeth - Every Day is Exactly the Same, Right Where It BelongsYear Zero - Me, I'm Not, In This Twilight, The Warning, Meet Your Master
 | syco722 Well that honestly depends on what you're into because most of his albums are pretty stand-alone and don't sound quite like the other albums. I'll rec my favorite song/songs from each album and you can see what you do and don't like, but NIN is kind of an acquired taste so don't worry if you don't immediately like any of it.
 | Tyler My opinion that he can't sing on key live is clouding my judgement of him as a musician? Well, yeah.
 | Spec They're an awesome band.
 | Tyler As a person? Nothing at all. He's an extremely nice dude and I've got nothing but good things to say about his personality. As a singer? His voice. It's bad. Sounds great on record but in the handful of times I've seen him I can't remember him ever singing on key.
 | Spec Get some Living With Lions up in here.
 | MrHigh Yea Saint Alvia Cartel is great and they deserve a proper page on this site so i contributed a bit. Ill have to post their 2nd album up here sometime too, but they shortened their name to Saint Alvia so i dont know about that.BTW im glad i got you into Death listen to Spirit Crusher, Crystal Mountain, and Lack of Comprehension. and listen to all those albums that those songs are on ha. Its the stuff of legends
 | ButcheredChildren holly springs was one of those few bands that were better live than recorded and sweet, but careful Sun Gods In Exile isn't very well known, you might break your hot streak
 | Spec You should check out some more non-mainstream bands yo.
 | Spec And how was that? I would imagine that it would be very good.
 | ButcheredChildren I have the album "Allegiance" and Holly Springs Disaster broke-up so there's no point in re-opening that grave, pluss they were a local band for me, I remember seeing them for 5$ with the rest of the local scene
 | ButcheredChildren all of the artists whose album's you have rated have fan bases exceeding 50,000 people
 | Spec ****ing love The Flatliners! One of the best live shows i'v ever been to... with Dropkick Murphys, Rum Runner and The Mahones ;) Drunken fun.
 | ButcheredChildren lol or I could just send you the link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6nuEZDtTAj0 I posted their entire album on youtube in 720p HD
 | ButcheredChildren yah, I like it quite a bit, I was surprised myself when I found I have a liking for country influenced music
 | Spec Slipknot sucks.
 | ButcheredChildren lol I'm not sure I really agree with that, manson has always been more about the image than the music, idt I can name a single song of his that was musically genious
 | ButcheredChildren yah I thought it was pretty fun, its kind of catchy as well, I liked it, did you?
 | ButcheredChildren Monster is an amazing song and so is Poker Face, I went through a Lady Gaga phase for a few months
 | ButcheredChildren Kind of, its one of my homepage tabs and I leave my computer on all day so I just check in once in awhile. It's not so much that it was unique as it was talented the way he hit those difference pitches with his vocals even his squeals were in tune
 | ButcheredChildren did they actually change vocalists? I thought their vocalist just decided to change styles?
 | ButcheredChildren yah I've heard their song Berzerk and a track off their new album, cant say im into the whole core/djent/progressive thing plus the new vocals dont sound great to me sorry
 | ButcheredChildren oh I rated that a while ago, truth be told I don't even listen to Eminem, sorry
 | andcas hahaha that was awesome.
 | TheStefan i respect them. but i just dont enjoy their sound. Anthony's voice just isn't my cup of tea and its too funky for me. I'm a skinny white kid from the suburbs. I ain't got no soul, nor rhythm
 | TheStefan not even close KatieKnight. not even close
 | MrHigh btw you gave ATBs Rareform a 4 but the re-issue a 2? That doesnt make much sense to me. I do like the original album more because Im already used to the production and original singer, but the new production is more balanced in sound and the new vocalist is good and does some interesting changes to the songs.
 | MrHigh Well I know what you mean, but I have a soft spot for Beautiful, Crack a Bottle, and Underground, the rest of the album is trash. so maybe its more deserving of a 1.5. i might change it. might not
 | syco722 Yeah I agree with you, he had a really distinct timbre to his voice that made him unique, so he was good, but I happen to prefer the new vocalist by a long-shot. And try your best to see them if they play anywhere near you, I just saw them this past saturday and it was an incredible performance.
 | syco722 I think he's fantastic dude; one of the best/most consistent vocalists I can think of, especially live. His screams are incredibly strong, most notably the high screams in songs such as pendulum, and they sound very natural, unlike the majority of vocalists in their genre.
 | Urinetrouble yo whatsup. few things first of all to get you started. mini-reviews are for the soundoff page of albums, and to reply you post in my shoutbox, not yours. Oh yeah, and talk to me some time, i think i could getcah into some good music
