 | Rowan5215 sorry a bunch of that was predicated on what happens in the s3 finale, I'm glad I worded it vaguely lmao. yes she was addicted to the blue stuff but all the same they gave her pretty much nothing to do all season, same as Clark, Kerry, Cary and Ptonomy - massive supporting character problem that season and they're my favourite part of the show. tele dude from S1 had like two lines, Ptonomy was a main character, it's just disingenous that none of the characters are emotionally affected at all

| Rowan5215 David and Syd (especially Syd) go from likable, watchable characters to some of the most insufferable, utterly ridiculous characters I've ever seen and they turn David into an assaulter just to have something to hang over us until s3 comes out. oh and let's not forget how Farouk is one of the most despicable characters ever put on screen and entirely a villain but just heel turns in the s3 finale with no build-up and they assume we'll be fine with it

Melanie gets completely wasted being drunk for eight episodes and her one thing to do is knock out Clark, which has absolutely no effect on anything cos he still shows up with deus ex machina thing to stop Farouk. Cary and Kerry's only development is to have their body thing switcheroo'd which literally never gets resolved and they just are back to normal in s3. Ptonomy ****ing dies and no-one cares or mentions it

| Rowan5215 As you may already know it's a rocky ride from there. Episodes 8 through 16 are easily as good as any of the first season imo, and then the finale (29) is one of the greatest things ever on TV. In between those it gets... pretty rough, but always with redeeming moments.

| Deschutes I love Destroyer 666. Gospel of the Horns is another favorite, and they're very similar, though I guess that's to be expected considering they have 2 ex-D666 members.

| Deschutes Yeah, I'm not too into Thrash either with a few exceptions (Demolition Hammer, Morbid Saint, and Dark Angel mainly; the "brutal" thrash bands as I've heard them referred to as), unless it's mixed with other genres, especially Black Metal (Black Thrash makes my nips hard), but I've always liked Kreator and I've heard they're incredible live

| Deschutes s***, I wouldn't mind seeing Skeletonwitch, though I never listen to them. And the problem for me is that Kreator will no doubt be going on after Obituary, so I'll just have to try to enjoy them as much as possible, haha. I imagine the lineup will go, in terms of playing first: Midnight, Horrendous, Obituary, Kreator. Not entirely sure on the first two, but I think that's how it'll go. I might have to grab a few beers when Obituary is playing.

| Deschutes Yeah I LOVE Horrendous, and from what live videos I've seen, Midnight looks like an incredibly fun band to see live. I am not excited to see Obituary, and I'm a bit bummed out that they'll definitely have a much longer set than both Horrendous and Midnight.

| Deschutes Wow, dedication like that is definitely admirable. I'm going to see Kreator, Horrendous, Midnight, and Obituary next Saturday, and I plan to raise some hell, but I don't think it'll get THAT crazy, haha. Probably just a bit of moshing.

And I forgot about the track Unrequited; that's the only other track of theirs I've ever really dug.

| Deschutes Those are the greatest memories.. I'll never forget the first time I saw Agalloch live. It was on the winter solstice 2010, and it was at a really small venue, so it seemed extra special. It was even slightly drizzling outside too, which made it extra perfect. Something I'll never forget as well.

| Deschutes I've heard mixed reviews about Deafheaven live. I have a friend who saw them and said they were pretty great, and I have a friend who saw them and said they were s***, haha. And I feel kind of weird for liking Alcest, considering they're a bit "flowery", for lack of a better term, compared to most Black Metal, but they were one of the first Black Metal bands I liked way back when Ecailles de Lune was released.

| Deschutes I don't mind the track Golden Number or w/e it's called, but the rest of the album is a complete snoozefest. I feel the same way about Deafheaven; I kind of like the track Dreamhouse, but outside of that, they put me to sleep too. I would say maybe it's the genre, but I dig stuff like Alcest so I think they just suck.
