| Deviant. Well if you want someone who sounds exactly like him (he's still good but really only exists as Burial worship) is Volor Flex. Also check out Clubroot, Irrelevant, Klatu, Unquote, Desolate, Nocow, Late, Sorrow, early Synkro and Ghostek. You'll find all these guys in the database here
| Futures idk who you are but i like you i think
| CalculatingInfinity It rules so I can't blame you, but it's clear in my mind which one's better ;]
| CalculatingInfinity Thank you :] Also have fun with that album from Supercell, ****ing incredible album which I would buy the special edition off but it's very expensive and I feel like I'll be wasting my money on such induldence.
| Snake. nah i live in new york i flew to rtx this year and in 2013, here's proof: http://youtu.be/clRXLGmf4y4?t=19m21s
| OmairSh :O Blasphemy!! Well I think the t/t is the weakest so I guess I'm more of a blasphemer :-P. Whatever we both love Floyd so its all gooo
| OmairSh Fvck, my bad, I confused the Anathema album's name with Floyd's, guess I'm bad with acronyms as well :-P. I meant Wish you were here
| OmairSh Dude 5 WHBWH, you know it deserves it
| OmairSh It's gorgeous. Don't ever change who you are Zibel
| Trebor. lol I was on there when it was like 30 members
| osmark86 and Wolves in the Throne Room (damn, forgot them). that should keep you occupied for a while mate ^^.
| osmark86 The Great Old Ones, Castevet, Saor, Entropia, Woods of Desolation, Summoning, Skogen, Ifing, Lantlôs, Cara Neir, Winterfylleth, Vattnet Viskar, Vinterriket, ColdWorld, An Autumn For Crippled Children, Paysage d'Hiver, Deafheaven (obvious one I suppose), Oranssi Pazuzu, Drudkh, Altar Of Plagues, Wodensthrone, Inter Arma, Blut Aus Nord, Der Weg einer Freiheit, Gris
| oresttt Yea, he hates everyone and everything in the world, but in a funny way.
| JokineAugustus Haha nice man. I know barely anyone that shares the same taste in music as myself. New Splinter Cell came out today. I may buy it depending on user reviews on Gamespot. I never trust staff reviews on there.
| JokineAugustus Hey man. Still finding time to go on the sput I see. How's Uni so far?
| JokineAugustus Guarenteeing you will keep the job you get is another challenge, because you can literally blink the wrong way and get fired. I think I've had 5 jobs in the past year.
| JokineAugustus Oh ya. Forgot Uni. I probably already asked you what courses you take on Xbox live then? I still need to save more which is hard on a job that gives me only 12 hours a week. Its really challenging to get jobs here in Manitoba normally.
| JokineAugustus Haha nice! I was going hard, then fell flat for a week when personal s*** hit me. Human makes the pain go away though. I'll be on for a while tomorrow afternoon most likely. You gonna buy GTA V, or is that an obvious yes already
| JokineAugustus You on Xbox still? Switch between both I see. I can't sleep when sputnikmusic distracts me anyway.
| climactic the reason its so quiet is because when i turn the volume up in the mix, the bass starts sounding buzzy and just s***ty. something i gotta figure out how to fix, anyways thanks a lot
| climactic hey thanks a lot man. i really want to get better at recording. most of that stuff is super basic and simple, i'm glad you liked it though
| Kman418 some of the unlockable stuff once you're done is fun to try to get, i had like nothing going on last summer so i was able to get most of them
| Kman418 "Pc's better yeah, but my laptop's s*** (can run Cry of Fear with some hiccups here and there)" oh man the amount of time i put into that mod last year
| MO yea, it was about time, rip metallicopeth
| MO yea that's cool. I just find besides enhanced graphics and more fluid gameplay, you can't really throw anything innovative into fighting games (besides MvC and SSB). but yea it looks like a piece of s***. a money-grubbing "all in one entertainment unit" that's trying to do too much in a short period of time. half the crap it's offering will barely be compatible anywhere besides the US
| MO and ssb
| MO yea but man modern day fighters are boring as s***. fighting games have gone the way of the dodo since marvel vs capcom basically has wiped (and always will) the floor with the competition
| botb dude thanks, i appreciate it!
| YoYoMancuso awesome. Electric Wizard is a hybrid of stoner metal and doom metal, some of the effects they use on their guitars are ear-splittingly epic. Also they use samples from b-movies and write the best lyrics ever.
| YoYoMancuso I actually dl'd it a few hours ago. Doom is really something, start with the bands Electric Wizard, Sleep, Acid Bath and Melvins. Acid Bath's debut is my favorite metal album ever.
| YoYoMancuso been meaning to check out Watching From A Distance, I've been getting into other doomy bands (Sleep, Melvins) lately. And yeah love the soundtrack on that game so much
| YoYoMancuso ah, I dug out my PS2 today and what do you Silent Hill 2 was the first game i played. And yeah i've been jamming as well, Slint's Spiderland has been my album of choice lately.
| Treeman Ill probably give that a shot soon if i dont get unbanned
| Treeman I wasnt on the banned users list either though. But 3 weeks is a lot as it is I was wondering how sonic even got through those 6 months hahah
| Treeman dont know for sure if im permabanned but its been over a week and i honestly didnt expect the band to even last that long
| Treeman I sent in a news article that just had hiiiiiiiiii and hello and heyyy in it and nothing else, i was really high
| Mike08 I don't collect vinyls but thanks.
| Mike08 You posted on Hilary's "Do you believe in God?" thread that there was a good thread 1 or 2 years ago. Any way you can find the link? I don't know how, but people can still find those links sometimes. Thanks

| Insurrection and i mean absolutely no offense if you are, im just curious.
| Insurrection hm let me rephrase that. why are you such a tool? or are you just another one of pits alts
| Maniac! Just wait til you hear the other one
| Maniac! Yeah they aged pretty well and it's cool that they pretty much invented a genre.
| Maniac! They were on that Halloween list, haha. They basically invented Industrial music, so if you like that stuff you should check out 'jazz funk hits' and 'third and final report'
| Maniac! Did you ever check out Throbbing Gristle?
| ViralOblivion sounds good just let me know on here when you wanna play i havent been playing as much as i want to im only a lvl 30 so what r u up to

| Maniac! Trolling Insurrection? You're doing god's work, sir.
| Maniac! my pleasure... stay tuned for the MediaSnobs write-up. I'd like to have it done for halloween
| Maniac! http://rateyourmusic.com/list/wiredmaniac/dark_ambient_noise_industrial_drone_stuff_that_i_like/

| Sirob thanks. hahah nice man, when you get it recorded send some to me so I can check it out
| Sirob were a pop punk band in the vein of The Story So Far and right now im the bassist and vocalist.lol im high so i accidentally just posted that on my own wall

| Sirob yeah, were trying to book our first show right now. and dont worry you always have **** beefy

| Sirob zilbel! man whats up hows it goin its been a while
| xxm judging from you're taste so far zibel we're going to be great friends
| Maniac! Yeah word of mouth, mostly. We have a FB/Twitter if you're interested in beingd about the site.
| Maniac! Yep, anyone can post, it goes through moderation and then gets published. Users can also write blog posts. I'll be adding more features periodically when I have the time. The hardest part is upon me now, though. Gotta get a steady community of people who post/blog/comment on the site.
| Maniac! I very much appreciate the kind words
| Maniac! Not doing Uni, actually. Dad runs his own web development company and I am training/working under him right now
| Maniac! yeah, I've been working/studying a lot. Trying to get my site off the ground too
| Maniac! Yeah it reminded me why I stopped coming here
| huguitoescorza si no te gustan mis listas y crees saber mas que yo, para q entras a verlas, mejor cierra tu maldita y asquerosa boca hijo de tu reputa madre, chingas a tu madre una y una otra ves. estas chavito aun
| Devastator I have a couple of friends with Halo that I borrow, I've thought of buying BF3 but decided not to. I might in the next couple of months though.
| Devastator I play GTA, madden, fallout and COD BLOPS or MW3. and whatever games I borrow from friends or rent.
| Devastator Nino may I (**** you I was 15 when I made it) I'm on xbox.
| Sirob its pretty offensive to the ear. production values were low, had about 15 minutes of "studio" time
| Sirob right now its called grfinnnd but we can call it **** beefy if you want.
| Sirob hey man i made a demo for our first single. pretty br00tal.
| GnFnRs87 I'll get round to it soon too I think, as far as the scare factor goes I watched 'Grave Encounters' the other day and the last third was a bit freaky in the dark, you seen it dude ??
| GnFnRs87 Probably, I'm not sure, haven't got round to watching it myself yet and sequels never tend to be as good as first movies, as far as horror movies to I'd have to say it was one of the best I've seen up there with Nightmare on Elm Street, The Shining and The Exorcist as one of my favourites
| GnFnRs87 I was surprised how scary it was too, the religious s*** and the tape recorder with that creepy voice just added to the tension, tie between the skinny girl and the kid scared me the most, have you seen the sequel ??
| GnFnRs87 When she bit his face I s*** myself haha, I was watching it at like 1 in the morning in the dark on my laptop which made it feel more realistic and I slept with the light on, the bit at the end when it's just her and the cameraman s*** me up and that thing in the attic. ****ing hell scares me just thinking about it and I don't scare easily, glad you enjoyed it man
| botb it's like a laptop cover of the computer that greg wrote all the lyrics of ire works and option paralysis on and it's signed and s***
| botb haha thanks buddy. i figured it out. so surreal
| Yazz_Flute plays church/theater gigs as a pianist. So there are definitely options beyond it. /essay
| Yazz_Flute To go to college with intentions of being a professional musician with any integrity afterwards is definitely a difficult thing to accomplish. But I mean, if you enjoy it enough go for it. There are very few degrees which can become keys to lucrative jobs obviously so it could be difficult in that situation. Luckily I'll be able to keep music up no matter my major. My dad double majored in Computer Science and Math but still participated in the University's percussion concerts and also
| Yazz_Flute My concentration is classical percussion, though I don't really have a specific major. WCSU is opening up a brand new audio production program which is another alternative to the performance or education degree basically, and I'll be checking that out next semester. If I think it's silly though I'll likely switch to Computer Science as my major while retaining music as my minor/playing in select percussion ensembles.
| Yazz_Flute Western Connecticut State University. It's a really good music/teaching program stuck in a mostly meh college otherwise.
| Divine does Donnie Darko ring a bell?
| Divine Dude, I love your profile picture PYRAMID HEAD!!!
| Josh-D what are you buying me for christmas?
| taxidermist Ah, sucks. Well on that video was when they were on the Blue Sky Noise tour, so they played a lot from it, but also managed quite a few of the old songs, so it was good. (I also LOVED BSN and knew all the lyrics by then so it was fun singing along to those too.)
| taxidermist Holy crap dude! You have to go see them. Their live show is so ****ing epic man. Definitely the best band I've seen live. Last time they came was prob the best show I've been to. I missed them when they came a couple of months later though ;_; But seriously, ****ing magical live. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CyisVuJi_VQ
| taxidermist That's cool then. On another note, just noticed you ALSO love Circa Survive. You're officially awesome in my book.
| taxidermist Ah, in that case you will love it. I personally disliked Plagues and WRAaBB. Dear Love was good imo. You can wait for the album to come out, but the official stream is out, so it's not like your robbing the band or anything ;)
| taxidermist Thanks dude! I appreciate the feedback. Listen to the stream. You gotta be 100% sure it's an album you will like/will buy. Unless you liked Zombie, then you're basically gonna like this one.
| promiseswept yeah man I play drums. mostly if I'm playing to bands, I like playing a lot of old whitechapel, old underoath, it dies today, etc. you drum?
| promiseswept hahaha yeah dude. I'm surprised too. I like a lot of deathcore and metalcore though haha so I'm definitely a bit of a pariah on here
| promiseswept yeah haha, take that as you will. I actuallyd them all awhile ago cause they all gotd. I get a lot of s hit on here for my ratings, but I'll never try to defend them like a pretentious douche haha
| RyanWilson Bon Iver - For Emma, Forever Ago, Neutral Milk Hotel - In the Aeroplane Over the Sea, The Antlers - Hospice. Those should do for now neighbour
| snerefedsav also, if you're into noodly, mathy stuff i have a lot of related suggestions. same goes for bands influenced by 90s emo. just hit me back again if you're interested.
| snerefedsav my bad, dude. i never check this thing. but i would definitely second breakdown's choice of the amia venera landscape album, especially if you're into metalcore but also are looking for post-rock/post-metal/whatever elements. mogwai is also good, especially their earlier material, and any mono is good if you're looking for the really high-brow type s***. i'm also really into rachel's, which you may find enjoyable if you're into the philip glass influence.
| botb absolutely dude!
