| SylentEcho Anytime. :) I'll be uploading another rare Beatles release; the entire Beatles Magazine collection on CD with the software and everything. Keep an eye on that website in case you're interested.
| SylentEcho 31 people sharing now. Should be a breeze to download it. Grab it quick. :)
| SylentEcho Yo! Go to kat[dot]cr aka Kickasstorrents and search "The Beatles Limited Edition USB ISO". I've uploaded the ISO of it there. You need a torrent client to download it. It'll take a while coz it's 9gb and I'm the only guy sharing it for now over there. Have fun. :)
| JamieTwort Never been the biggest Dire Straits fan I must confess. Haven't heard any of Knopfler's solo stuff though. Merry Christmas bro.
| JamieTwort Awesome. What were your thoughts on Then Play On in particular? That's possibly my favourite blues rock album, period. Peter Green is definitely my favourite guitarist. One of a kind.
| JamieTwort Nice, I need to do that myself actually.
| SylentEcho Hey, sorry. I'll do it soon. I've been really caught up lately and haven't had the time to rip it off the USB and make an ISO. When I do it, I'll tell you here. I'll definitely do it in the next couple of weeks. :)
| JamieTwort I think your post must have cut off midway through (I'm guessing you used an ampersand) but yes those are great albums.
| JamieTwort Nice bro. Have you listened to Black Rose yet? That's my personal favourite Lizzy album. The presence of a certain guitarist might have something to do with that ;)
| SylentEcho I'll rip out that Beatles USB and put the ISO on kat soon. Watch out for it. ;)
| MO ahh I see how it is, you can see all my stuff but not the other way around huh ;)
| MO I don't think so man. Let me know how to find you and I'll the comment right away
| pizzamachine I can't remember if I rec'd it either lol. Either way I'm glad you like Fetch, it's a fun album. :)
| BigHans DL to DropBox, thanks much. BTW did you know that The House That Heaven Built by Japandroids is the best song ever?
| BigHans Looks like they have some stuff on Spotify but not that one
| BigHans DOubt it since Ive never heard of them :)
| Inveigh word, glad you're still stopping in to the old sput. gone are the good ole days unfortunately but it's still fun from time to time. dr. dog definitely sounds interesting
| Inveigh feel like i haven't seen you around these parts for a hot minute omni, but clearly you've been active... what's good homie?
| theacademy WOW HARSH A 2.5 FOR THE BACKSTREET BOYS GREATEST HITS?!

| tommygun man this is really cool love the vibes and atmosphere, will check for sure. much appreciated
| crazyblinddude Thanks dude. I definitely have heard of the project, but have not given it the full time to listen to. I will definitely check it out in full later tonight.
| JamieTwort I'll check it out. Here's a rec in return; Wolf People - Fain.
| JamieTwort I listened to a couple of tracks from that Fiona Apple album and I liked them. Particularly Daredevil. Will give the whole album a spin at some point.
| check it out bro, you might dig this http://necrodogg.bandcamp.com/album/buddha-quest
| tommygun hehe thanks man, yeah i think people only get busted for postin links if it's in threads or someone reports it but i'll remove it from my s/b just to be on the safe side! checkin that site now
| tommygun australia actually! all good though i'm usually pretty good at finding what i need on the net so will get for sure! thanks for the rec mate
| tommygun nah man i don't have any bowie bootlegs... worth checking?
| JamieTwort Yes I am, I have 2 of their albums 5'd ;)
| WeepingBanana no idea what this is but thanks, will get to it when i can
| Josh D. WELL THEY'RE ALL ON SPUTNIK SO QUIT DICKIN AROUND AND LISTEN. And then, you know, throw that list on over.
| Iluvatar wait what when did this even get announced
| Josh D. Might as well. I spend most of my time listening to music when I'm at home. Lately I've been listening to Nils Frahm, The Tumbled Sea, Efterklang, Frameworks, and a little bit of Acres.
| Josh D. Plus I live in Austin now. I've got plenty of things to do. Although I'm on Twitter endlessly.
| Josh D. I have commented a couple times every 5 or 6 months. Not particularly by design, just this site has been such a tumor for so long I finally got tired of it. I still use it to find music from time to time, but rarely post. The only people I'd care to interact with are on FB anyway (and I hate that damn site too).
| Wolfhorde barely, 5 PM right now. for me eve starts in an hour.
| pizzamachine haha yeah I'm actually on this site often, I just don't comment that much. Don't worry though you won't need to find a pizza replacement ;)
| aok facebook group
| JamieTwort Downloading now, I'll give it a listen later and let you know what I think.
| JamieTwort Yeah I did, haven't listened to it for a long while though, need to give it another spin at some point.
| Puzzles greetings omni, I recall that you liked that record I put out last year, here is the music video I just finished for a new track. let me know what you think bro http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j3DvjNSZy84
| Kman418 i'm not actually being serious in that religion thead btw I just felt like ****ing around a little :p
| JamieTwort I think I listened to some of that Growlers album a while ago, I seem to remember that I wasn't too impressed but I'll give it another listen to make sure. I'll check out The Black Angels too, thanks bro.
| JamieTwort Cool, I'll definitely give it a listen. I've been listening to a lot of Purling Hiss recently. I really like their self-titled album which is quite a lot different from Waters on Mars, it's more psychedelic and fuzzy with less alt-rock influences.
| JamieTwort No I haven't actually, been meaning to though. I'll check it out soon.
| demigod! Subhumans! those guys don't get enough credit around here, The Day the Country died is such a great punk rock album
| demigod! ok cool, yeah ive heard bad brains and minor threat, will check out the Dickies, can't get enough 80s hardcore. Walls of Jericho sound cool as well. And I actually checked out that Hatebreed album the other day, killer stuff. I love how well the songs flow
| Voivod I liked the album a lot, rated it too, gonna try and write a text next month, because I have some promos to clear out plus the unavoidable real life issues..
| Voivod Hey check this out: http://www.metalsucks.net/2013/04/19/unsigned-and-unholy-morality-crisis-agnes-vein-before-the-eyewall/
| demigod! ah cool. Haven't heard those other bands you've mentioned before actually, will have to check. Always thought Hatebreed were a bit of a joke honestly, which of their albums would you say is their best? I prefer the more raw and visceral stuff when it comes to hardcore.
| demigod! hey Omni, i saw your 4.5 on Madball's Set it Off. kinda surprised me-didn't know you were into early metalcore/hardcore. got any recs? I can't get enough of the stuff.
| RosaParks you did good. don't get down. kris is banned too
| JamieTwort Listening to that Purling Hiss album and it's really good. It reminds me of a modern version of Killing Floor's Out of Uranus at some points.
| JamieTwort Will do. It will be a little while before I can get on my computer but I'll let you know as soon as I have.
| JamieTwort Listening to a few of the songs on Youtube as I couldn't find a working link. Sounds great. Lolita rocks hard.
| JamieTwort Oh right, it looked more like stoner rock/heavy psych from the cover. Sounds interesting though.
| JamieTwort I'll check it out, thanks. It certainly looks like something I'd dig judging by the artwork.
| Gwyn. List = Joke. Question = Genuine
| pizzamachine lol I downloaded the album and it's CRAZY, good stuff
| CaptainDooRight album is done: http://trvth.bandcamp.com/album/black-horse-plague
| PuddlesPuddles I was just about to find a way to call for help because I need new music desperately. This is why you reign supreme. Any standouts?
| Jethro42 Yes I do, but I'm not sure about how it works to add somebody. Can I add yours instead?
| Trebor. No, there's this meme type picture of the Heroes album cover, but you see whose hands those are
| Tyrael Ensiferum's self titled, check it :D
| JamieTwort Ah yes I've heard some of Tame Impala's first album, which I liked but never checked out their new album for some reason. I will correct that, thanks. I actually really like the band Pond (in the database as 'Pond (AU)') who are apparently a Tame Impala side project. Beard, Wives, Denim was among my favourite albums of last year.
| Tyrael You can leave the U it's too formal :] Clercqie is also belgian (dutch) though!
| Tyrael I only hope some day I can kick em in the **** em slash
| Tyrael Comparing you to andcas damn these people must pay for their sins
| Tyrael There is if I'm losing because of some people that despise me (kitsch, wabbit) :/
| Tyrael Dude I'm gonna lose to ****ing pianotuna you gotta win bro
| coneren the team with the most penalties wins!
| coneren sweet i can definitely party in there by myself
| coneren it better because im going to spend most of my time there for eye gouging
| coneren oh my god id be fuuckin stoked
| coneren they dont mind i asked them
| coneren quit work to become a full time alcoholic
| Wolfhorde Eh, depends. As Zack already said, Post-Metal gets stale reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaally quickly.
| Wolfhorde Also, Zack totally nailed it about Post-Metal.
| Voivod You are welcome, I will listen to the album and see if I can do it justice in due time :-).
| AngelofDeath Probably a 2.5. But post-metal is just a genre that's almost impossible to sound original or even interesting in. All the ideas and tenants of the genre are just so recycled. Hell, I think even Neurosis is starting to run out of ideas. The album kind of hints at doom at times, but without vocals to tie everything together or provide some kind of extra dynamic to the music, it just sort of falls flat.
| AngelofDeath As far as staffers, Voivod is probably your best bet.
| AngelofDeath I've spent a little bit of time with it, but it's just not making any sort of statement to me. One thing I will say is that it desperately needs some vocals.
| Wolfhorde I don't even know what that is but wait, you do have FB?
| Wolfhorde Ugh, why do you not have FB or something alike. I just remembered why I don't like coming here all that often. Having a proper debate with the old man without all the crazy Sputnik around would be sweet.
| Underflow Yeah, the amount of foreign aid we're giving to other countries is atrocious considering how ****ed we are here at home. Something that' bothered me of late though is the partisan worship of each president. I mean, there are so many policies that continue from pres to pres and yet those polices, when executed by the opposition are "ruining the country while when executed by "our guy" are conveniently ignored by so many. That's why I draw on the bush Obama similarities.
| Underflow Don't know how much you care, but you may find this interesting http://www.humblelibertarian.com/2011/08/bush-20-100-ways-barack-obama-is-just.html
| BigHans ah sweet fist hard thanks man
| BigHans No what you talkin bout Willis
| anarchistfish lol I actually meant that he was gonna run out of words to use for usernames but cool
| Yazz_Flute It's up there with Fire! Orchestra! as my favorite jazz release of 2013 thus far.
| klap yeah i've listened but haven't paid too much attention yet, will rectify that later today most likely. always been a fan of his. will check out mason too
| foxblood how you feelin about the new bowie album dude? it has a couple of my favorite songs from him in a long time. but i can tell it's an album that i'll need to explore a lot more to properly appreciate
| BigHans lol sorry man guess its 90s day. Dont have Clutch yet need it hard.
| Hawks I justd it myself. Didn't even feel like getting banned over it because I knew it was coming.
| Hawks Yeah dude he's a giant retard. By far the worst user this site has ever seen, and that's really saying something.
| Hawks I'm assuming you're referring to Skele? Lol
| JamieTwort I remember seeing it on one of those lists but I haven't checked it out so thanks for the reminder bro.
| JamieTwort Despite showing obvious influences from classic prog bands, the band has their own sound which makes it hard to compare them to any other modern prog acts.
| JamieTwort Hmm it's hard to compare Beardfish to a single band, each of their albums has a different sound to it. I'd say Mammoth and The Void are their best. The former has quite a strong Canterbury influence, the jazzy sections are reminiscent of the likes of Caravan and Soft Machine but the album has a much heavier sound overall than either of those bands. The Void borders on progressive metal and has some Gentle Giant influences in there.
| CaptainDooRight sweet thanks bro, much appreciated, I'll def check that out
| VisionsFromTheDarkSide Fair enough man, I'll try and get it done by Friday but I'm busy with gigs and things but yeah, I'll get it done soon
| VisionsFromTheDarkSide Hey dude, just wondering, is there a specific time we have to get our reviews done (for the random review game)?
| coneren wel i mean id go down to watch the canucks play either team anyway and anytime i ever watch a hockey game in any league the team i cheer for usually loses
| coneren its cheaper to fly down there and watch a game than to buy one here me and my friend might go watch one there or phoenix
| coneren i remember and i am really mad you told me to try harder and i was laughing becasue well yeah thats gr8 how are you im going to the arena soon to watch hockey ive been sober lately help
| Kimm Thanks! I'll check it out. Have to get some work done though - I fell behind in school and have a LOT of work to do this weekend, plus I have to study for two midterms. I'll send you a Facebook message next week if I survive my weekend. Hope you enjoy yours!
| Kimm Death is always a terrible thing. :(
| Kimm I didn't ever see that list - I'm so sorry to hear that. I remember when my mom miscarried, it was not easy for the family.
| Kimm Definitely not an easy thing to deal with.
| Kimm http://www.sputnikmusic.com/list.php?memberid=447091
| Kimm Haha yeah. He's also my phone/desktop background.
| Kimm Guitar player is my brother Travis. Drummer is his buddy Max. They were in a band together.
| Kimm Glad to hear it!
| Kimm Hey! How are you doing?
| toxin. Haha, maybe. That user is pretty harmless all things considered we might have gone at him a bit too much
| silentpotato haha well thanks for looking. and yeah im sure ill be able to find it on what.cd in flac or anything. will look into it. anyways ill send you another album soon here, was on vacation back to the homeland and didnt have my computer with me.
| silentpotato didnt even know it existed! i should probably check it out, i do love that album but my one gripe with it was with production. I'm into everything to straight lofi noise so usually thats not a problem but with a more alternative/pop rocky sound i think the album gets a little grating to listen to if im not in the mood. maybe some remaster magic would smooth that out. and ill find something for you shortly!
| silentpotato that factor right there is literally the ONLY part of that album that made me skeptical of your enjoyment haha. before i sent it to you i thought "i wonder if this is too noisy... ah **** it." if your still down to review it thats cool otherwise i can give u something else if you'd prefer
| BigHans m/. Brandons site looks good btw
| silentpotato i dont care u can neg review it the only point is to get more reviews out there. i thought ud dig it tho
| BigHans lol that movie is so ****ing dated. Rules though. Cameron Crowe m/
| BigHans K I did it anyway. Holy crap first song sounds like Beatles
| BigHans not yet I dont dare download while at work
| silentpotato your album for the review game is Medicine-Shot Forth Self Living
| BigHans never heard of it. IVe been seriously off the grid. I havent listened to more than 5 new albums in the last year. Would I like it? Does it rawk?
| AliW1993 I'm not really familiar with their older stuff. I heard their previous record once a while back but it didn't really make much of an impression. I really like Let It All In, though, so I'm going to give them a little more time.
| Apollo Fair enough man. What do you think of Oceania?
| Apollo Zeitgeist a 1! Dude, Bleeding the Orchid is an awesome song. I'd say it's at least a 2.5 (I think I need to drop my rating that being said lol)
| toxin. Awesome, thanks for the rec! I can't believe I'm going to listen to music on MySpace again.
| Yotimi Whoa that's just weird then... She's 8 months - most of the reason I haven't been on here as much this past year.
| Yotimi Pretty sweet. Did u know i had a daughter named Autumn? Plus that band is from my hometown
| FancyM8 call me skele ill kick your ass you dink dont think i wont do it ill make a video of it beforehand too showing about how tough and badass i am you pussy
| JamieTwort No I haven't and no I don't think you have. I'll check it out, thanks.
| MysteriousNewUser all stuff haha. And im not skele at all, ive been lurking for awhile. and no you wouldnt lol everyone hates skele xD
| MysteriousNewUser im actually not skele, been lurking for about 6 weeks now yano and decided to make an account. mainly into alt rock if you know any good recs
| DarkInfernal I've reviewed Magnapop, hope you like it - http://www.sputnikmusic.com/review/54621/Magnapop-Magnapop/
| Tyrael Ah, now I feel stupid :[
| Tyrael 'I just assumed you'd gotten a life or a boy/girl friend.' NO -.-
| Kimm Haha. Don't be a Negatron, be an Optimist Prime!
