 | Typhoon24 as a hip hop fan i figured you'd be interested--i did one for the resurrection - GB . Check it out (: It uploaded 2 reviews, one for the foundation incorrectly and then i uploaded the right one for the resurrections. hopefully the the foundation one, i asked rowan.
 | OmairSh Ah okay, yeah I know of rym, but haven't been on a lot. I've been good man. Was in Pakistan for 3 weeks, attended my best friend's weddng and spent time with family, so it was good. How was the holiday season for you?
 | OmairSh Hey Nero, long time man. How've you been?
 | Drifter Never. P, Silkk, C, Fiend, Mystikal, Mia, and Mac are way more distinguishable than Cash Money plus I love bbtp more than mannie fresh although he's tight.

 | hal1ax i know right. melodic but also gritty. and i'm usually not crazy about gang vocals but, get bent and latterman do them sooo well. rather than sounding cheesy or banal they actually add to the roughness of the sound, in so far as they're usually a little bit of a hodgepodge, in a good way

 | MarsKid Embrace chaos! https://www.sputnikmusic.com/list.php?listid=185364
 | ArsMoriendi I noticed that you had this album rated under the wrong page: https://www.sputnikmusic.com/soundoff.php?albumid=44174 so I requested that album on her solo page bed, because it already exists exists on her collab page with Jim White with more votes.
 | ArsMoriendi Sure, take your time man. You already one haha.
 | ArsMoriendi Awesome! Final playlist due tomorrow night though. :P
 | ArsMoriendi You made it to the final round. I'm telling you early because the task this time is to create a 10 song playlist (1 song from each genre we've done.) So you'll want to have time for that.
 | ArsMoriendi Need your umbrella rec by Thursday night, just a reminder again. Final 4 :P
 | MarsKid Deadline extended to Wednesday night. Make sure to get in your album!
 | MarsKid The game is on! https://www.sputnikmusic.com/list.php?listid=184513

 | DoofDoof Will give it another go, you always know the good s***
 | Minushuman24 tbh I'd wear the s*** outta that black sabbath/flag shirt
 | mandan I saw something about you preferring Maiden with Di Anno. If so, we agree there.
 | mandan What are some of your fave Sabbath album covers?
 | mandan Did Sabbath's HaH grow off you?
 | mandan I like the Beatles, but they're prob my least favorite of the 60s British Invasion Big 3.
 | mandan Also you're clearly not a big Beatles fan, if I saw correctly you gave low ratings to 2 of their albums.
 | mandan Surprised to notice that you 2'd DT's I
 | mandan I saw something about you preferring Anthrax to Megadeth.
 | Mort. cheers man, send me your edit and ill have a look and work on it when i get the chance soon
 | Mort. i have a half written review for it, but every time i look at it i decide its s***. you know what, seeming as youre a big fan of oxbow, could i get your email and send you it to get some feedback? finding myself doubting a lot of the descriptions constantly
 | DoofusWainwright 'Thin Black Duke' has some more trad 90s alt rock in there to my ears (in a good way). Think they use the noise and drone elements really well in their sound, I'll keep working my way through their discog.
 | DoofusWainwright Never listened to before today, really impressive, but of Jesus Lizard and Swans in there, a tiny bit of The Residents and Soundgarden strangely too
 | Typhoon24 yeah, theyre definitely better. there's audio footage of pimp saying that Bun B's trill was a UGK album while pimpilation was more of a collection of unused songs. must explain why i like trill so much
 | Typhoon24 yo how do you feel about pimp c and bun's solo records (pimpilation and trill)
 | kascetcadettt here's a thread where you can discuss how fantastic it is to be a part of this moment: http://www.sputnikmusic.com/list.php?listid=174557 \\\ don't be scared to share the news with other guys in case i missed someone out and keep shining in the light of this beautiful rock n roll fireplate, god bless, hasanmedia represent

 | kascetcadettt sieg hi it's-a me smooth brotha from the umpteenth block taggin' em trainz comin' from your favorite station, word on the street is (artuma is gay) my new album came out recently and if that's the last thing i ever do let it be, leavin' the link in your hands my man: http://poleyounger.bandcamp.com/album/go-daylight \\\ feel FREE to 1 it if u didn't like my agressive self promotion campaign, feel FREE to thank me if this album saved your life
 | DoofusWainwright Yeah I've also listened to 'America' and 'Death Chants' and they were both excellent
 | DoofusWainwright Over the rest of this year I'm going to try and listen to most of his back catalogue, that album is perfect
 | Typhoon24 thanks for the love for houston rap. also the mystic stylez 5 was correct. similar tastes in hip hop?
 | DoofusWainwright I'm not major on soundtracks and that's what the album sounded like, just not my thing
 | Sinternet it's so spacey and funky and chill i love it, wish parts of it were a bit more concise though
 | Tyler. Nice I'm glad you liked it
 | DoofusWainwright I saw you had one of her albums 5'd so I checked her out based on that :D
 | Tyler. Yo check the 4 ep by uzeda
 | Flugmorph my industrial chart is bigger than yours aaahahahahahahhaha
 | TheSpaceMan wow main - motion pool is really good, thanks for the tip in the direction
 | OmairSh You might like some of the stuff on here http://www.sputnikmusic.com/list.php?memberid=673174
 | MrSirLordGentleman I downloaded it, so I will check it many times in the next days. I won't close my doors that easily for an album that's supposed to be a classic ;)
 | OmairSh Yo Nero, have you checked the new fates warning record? Good s***
 | Flugmorph pro need to check them out then. thx man
 | Flugmorph Theres no other band in this style of industrial that i call darksynth that are as good as skinny puppy
 | Flugmorph 10k comments biiiiiiiiiiitch. gimme dem internet points GIMME GIMME GIMME
 | CaliggyJack CaliggyJack Everything before cruise was easy for me, then cruise came and it got harder and harderCheck out my reviews for Xanadu (NY) if you enjoy my PE reviews!
 | CaliggyJack I'd love to, but coming across a proper and high quality version of birdseed is becoming increasingly difficult
 | MrSirLordGentleman have u checked this? http://www.sputnikmusic.com/review/51653/Rainbow-Live-in-Munich-1977/
 | iloveyouall well, you can't really go wrong with either, so it's a bit of a win-win.
 | DoofusWainwright I've checked Mountain Goats a while back, what's their best album? I'll give them another go
 | Artuma i dig noise rock so i think i'll be ok with that. i'll give both albums a listen, thanks
 | Britch2tiger Oddly enough I felt KJ's first 2 albums (or overall early work) didn't hit as hard as their later work into the 90's. For reference, I think their '03 KJ album is much better than their '80 KJ album.
 | Britch2tiger And will testify that Killing Joke has a lot more hits than Cop Shoot Cop.
 | Britch2tiger Will admit it's not often a band makes their better work on their first album. Just by comparison, Consumer Revolt kinda has the same air as Killing Joke's Extremities album.
 | Britch2tiger Consumer Revolt got a 3.5? You've heard of their other albums right? That's likely their best work!
 | TheMagicalBlender Hey Id the list so you can now nominate up to three more albums instead of one. Just lettin' you know.
 | ArsMoriendi Yeah, I've been loving it, thanks for the rec! I've listened to it like 5 times already and it's still a 5/5 for me.
 | Ovrot it is the power of riffs that binds us
 | rockandmetaljunkie I've been told differently. If you like dark ambiance music, Isis is a must-listen.
 | rockandmetaljunkie Feel really bumped to check the rest of their discog dude. Also wanna check Isis one of these days.
 | rockandmetaljunkie Feel really bumped to check the rest of their discog dude. Also wanna check Isis one of these days.
 | TheMagicalBlender Dude I'm finally listening to Bathory. Started with listening to Blood Fire Death right now, and this is seriously one of the greatest things ever.
 | WeepingBanana Nice, pass and stow is probably my favorite. They're one of those bands where every album informs the others in terms of how their sound changed/tweaked
 | WeepingBanana Nah that's one lungfish album I haven't gotten around to. I'm sure it's amazing though
 | wham49 I like to play with people who love MOR, it is a great album, not my fave Sabbath but we are splitting hairs with which ozzy era album is better, I'm guessing that you are a Sabbath Freak as well, have you heard the 69 demo album with covers, wanted to check it out
 | jelzel23 To mega therion was really cool .Thanks for the recommendation
 | romulanrancor sup nero, any chance you could rec me some hardcore? damn, is that a black flag/black sabbath t-shirt? :O
 | MrSirLordGentleman Yeah I did, equally awesome. I'd still pick MM but they're extremly close for me
 | Artuma i think it's broadrick's best. an absolute masterpiece
 | Artuma heyyy nice rating for jesu s/t
 | TheMagicalBlender Uh, didn't you have more ratings? Or I have I not noticed it was always this small?
 | deathschool Hey, I didn't take you for a Death Grips fan. That's great.
 | Titan yeah well if that is his picture on his profile, i need to retire from the site
 | Titan who the hell is this ihateradiohead guy?
 | rockandmetaljunkie I see you checked earth's debut. They are one of my favorite bands. You should check the rest of their discography. No other albums are like Earth 2 though because these guys employ so many different styles in their music.
 | rockandmetaljunkie I've only recently discovered a band called Dead Boys. Check them out ;)
 | rockandmetaljunkie Hey man what's up ? I'm looking for an album similar to MC5's "Kick Out the Jams. Have you ever listen to an album with a similar vibe ?
 | TheMagicalBlender I liked it, but it doesn't hold a candle (no pun intended) to Epicus Doomicus Metallicus. 4/5.
 | elcrawfodor Think I'll just start with traditional and epic doom, I've heard some death/doom and funeral but they were a bit too plodding for me.
 | elcrawfodor Nero you seem like a guy who knows his doom, what are the essential albums for a beginner? I really just know Master of Reality, Epicus, Born Too Late, and Relentless.
 | danielcardoso Hey man, check Skin Yard - 1000 Smiling Knuckles. You'll dig it.
 | danielcardoso Hey man, the Trees have a nice little Sabbath cover, I'm sending you the link.
 | adr holy **** u 5'd a screamo album? ._.
 | rockandmetaljunkie Keep listening and discovering new music that suit your tastes Nero bro
 | rockandmetaljunkie Melvins is on my check list for some time now. I'm aware of their value as a band. I will add Eyehategod on my list as well.
 | rockandmetaljunkie hey man sup ? everything's cool atm. I'm not big on Sludge, but there are some bands I love. You've got suggestions for me ?
 | BigHans dude how have you not made like a top 25 Sabbath riff list yet
 | rockandmetaljunkie Dude, join the party http://www.sputnikmusic.com/list.php?listid=159032
 | manosg Glad you enjoyed it, man. Yeah it has that feeling of experimentation that you get on SBS. It would be nice to know who influenced whom.
 | MrSirLordGentleman Dude, have you checked this? http://www.sputnikmusic.com/review/39857/Ghost-B.C.-Opus-Eponymous/
 | Torontonian I've listened to that Television album a decent amount at this point. I definetly like it, (especially closer, omg). I definetly see what your talking about with the guitar, really unique. Punk isn't a favorite of mine but definetly dug the album. And glad to see that moonmadness in its rightful place btw :p.
 | OmairSh Also why haven't you checked Leprous out properly yet -_-
 | manosg Hey dude. Found this one and thought it might be of interest to you. Not anything special or groundbreaking but the fact that it's produced by Iommi made me check it. Necromandus - Orexis of Death.
 | OmairSh Sludge metal apart from neurosis, Isis, maudlin, kayo dot, electric wizard. Shoot
 | Mongi123 Yea I won't ignore them dude I'll try them eventually for sure. I've just been on such a post metal/post rock listening streak. Isis has been my s*** lately.
 | MrSirLordGentleman Well a little bit of the riffing too since you know I'm not a fan of extreme instrumentation but yeah, I'd say that the main problem for now are the vocals
 | OmairSh http://www.sputnikmusic.com/news/34179/Leprous-premieres-second-track/#lastpost
 | OmairSh In a sludge metal mood right now :-P, but I'll get back to you after checking the link
 | Torontonian Just bought it on amazon for about a total of 7 bucks on cd used. i thought the musicianship as a whole was great, only heard it once so i can't really say much else with confidence. will get back to you when i jam it more!
 | Torontonian listnedn to television yesterday! album is really great, still need to listen more though. Will probably buy it eventually as i hate listening to s*** on youtube.
 | MrSirLordGentleman Nah, it is fun, but without the sax parts it would be a little bit repetitive
 | pissbore also not sure if i asked already but you should add me on fb bro http://www.facebook.com/organic.sludge
 | pissbore http://globalchernobyl.bandcamp.com
 | pissbore Global Chernobyl is COMPLETELY different and MUCH more serious of a project. its in the database here too so you can rate it after you listen if you feel so inclined (we appreciate all feedback)
 | Torontonian aight, sorry if that was annoying btw was just curious.
 | Torontonian fixed it. but c'mon tho why the demotion? also will check television soon, as i've been postponing.
 | Torontonian your new moonmadness rating makes me sad :(
 | ButteryBiscuitBass Sup bro, please check my latest where snox is singing the lyrics I wrote. http://www.sputnikmusic.com/list.php?memberid=822992
 | ButteryBiscuitBass http://www.sputnikmusic.com/list.php?memberid=822992New track up if you're interested dude
 | adr nice F#A# rating ;)
 | Torontonian Thanks man I know nothing about punk but I'll give it a listen.
 | Torontonian Just realized I forgot to send the song lol https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=O0JNhd9Hhpc
 | Torontonian understandable. hey well here´s a song by them just in case, if you dig, you should check out their debut ´storia di un minuto´which is htink is pretty great
 | Torontonian I really wanna give you a prog rec btw but looks like you've got everything covered tbh.
 | Torontonian ya, shame on me! i like it but Tull have never been a favorite of mine, even though i like them. I'm sure i'd bump it up if i spun it a few more times tbh.
 | Torontonian Nice. Ya I figured u'd dig it a lot. Can't get enough of it.
 | Torontonian since you're fairly into 70's rock... have you heard spirit-12 dreams of dr sardonicus? it should be a classic.
 | Torontonian really? i'm well aware its a waste of time regardless, but damn his ratings piss me off. i couldn't help it haha.
 | MrSirLordGentleman One of the weirdest digs I've ever had for sure. The music's good, and the vocals are really scary but addictive
 | ArsMoriendi Dude, in that case I think you'd love Zoot.
 | ArsMoriendi Also, I see you never rated Apostrophe or One Size Fits All, did you like them?
 | ArsMoriendi Here's the thing about Zappa: there's no point in differentiating between his solo work and his stuff with The Mothers. He was such a control freak that his stuff with "The Mothers" might as well have been his solo stuff, especially post-1970.
 | ArsMoriendi I thought you listened to One Size Fits All when I rec'd it... regardless, I think you'd love Zoot Allures.
 | ArsMoriendi Have you checked Zappa's album Zoot Allures? I think you might like it.
 | ArsMoriendi Nice Tago Mago rating. I have it 5'd myself.
 | ArsMoriendi Yeah, you're probably right. I do like both songs though.
 | rockandmetaljunkie That's healthy man. There are tons of good music outside of metal and only a narrow-minded person would choose not to explore them.
 | rockandmetaljunkie Yea, it's like those classic Candlemass artworks. believe me, the music sounds just as awesome.
 | rockandmetaljunkie Nero, check Crypt Sermon's debut. Some excellent epic doom http://www.sputnikmusic.com/bands/Crypt Sermon/64352/
 | danielcardoso Hey man, hope all's going well for you. I've been meaning to ask you, what's your favorite grunge band out of the Big 4?
 | Titan im breaking balls, had to get it out of my system. I stand behind everything I say, but it really is ALL good.
 | Titan better than St. Vitus? C'mon man!
 | Titan Definitely did. I even left the first comment stating that and he must have pulled it down and put it back up because that comment is now gone lol
 | Titan haven't we seen that chili peppers list about 3 times in the past 2 weeks or so? very strange
 | Titan i was there too, i had s***ty seats though way up top on Tony's side
 | Titan meant to ask you, did you see Sabbath at the Barclay's back in March?
 | Titan SI, sweet! Rush June 29 at MSG dude
 | Titan what?!! whereabout? i'm in Bayside, Queens!
