 | Yotimi Dig that 100 songs list man
 | NationalRadio I just read your top 50 LP's and I think I'm in love with you
 | Hi David! Thanks for rating our Home By Hovercraft, "Are We Chameleons?" Very cool! Would love to hear more feedback or a full review! :) The entire album will be out digitally for sale tomorrow and streaming on Soundcloud so people will have a place to hear the whole thing easily... Thanks again! -Shawn Magill

 | mikedroth Hey dude! Would you be interested in reviewing the new Bigfoot Wallace album? I know you reviewed the last one. Contact me at mikedroth@gmail.com
 | AutoRock hey. I saw, that you already rated the upcoming Leagues Album. Where did you get your hands on it? I really liked the EP and also the new single.
 | Yotimi Sorry man, i think i got it from mediafire. But that's probably been taken down by now.
 | Lakes. huh. how is the epic closer this time?
 | Skoop Hey you have really great taste
 | Blackbelt54 pree sure ur new pic is in my Environmental Science textbook haha
 | donovan909 If you are looking for some of the best (original/innovative) albums. I would rec. anything by Starflyer 59, Poor Old Lu (Sin or 8th Wonder), The Prayer Chain (Mercury), Model Engine, Dear Ephasus. All those are fantastic bands, all are alternative/indie, of course, they all sound completely different from one another. The first 3 are the biggest of all of the Christian acts that came out at the time, thus, better production. SF59 and The Prayer.. would be my two favorites. Hope that helps!
 | donovan909 Hey Eko, I was entrenched in the Christian scene in the 90's. It is something that I grew out of and am not really to keen on now, but back in the 90's I was very much into the underground Christian alternative/hardcore scene, so even as my tastes have changed, there are still so many wonderful albums from that time that I love and feel like have not got a chance to be appreciated just because they were 'christian'. Good music is Good music regardless of a bands personal beliefs!
 | MrGarlic hey, I see you like to review new christian indie artists!!! Check out this band called "The Thomas Confession", they just came out with the new full length CD "Convolutions". Its really nice!!!
 | raggedragamuffin yup it was cool. check us out if you like, basic pop punk. www.myspace.com/goodkidsbadideas
 | raggedragamuffin i was in a band in spokane, wa called Good Kids Bad Ideas. i see classic crime and anberlin in your faves, we actually played with them too. i quit a couple months ago though, it just wasn't my favorite style of music, although it was fun while it lasted
 | TheBalderdashMan My stupidity detector is going off somewhere in the middle of your new ratings.
 | Lakes. can you up your rating by .5 just cuz treefingers is a good song?:P
 | Lakes. well that's kind of the point of ambiance. a couple tracks have climaxes anyway
 | Blackbelt54 let's just agree to disagree and be done with it
 | TheBalderdashMan Yep, that's why I'm going to keep listening to it. Explosions too.
 | TheBalderdashMan I seem to be the only dissenting soundoffer on Kanada. Should I feel cool or horrible?
 | Blackbelt54 idk, it's a pretty loose ranking, they are all 4's...
 | Blackbelt54 Ya, but you have to consider that I was already interested in them prior, except Come Now Sleep. But yeah you and balderdashman have given me some awesome stuff
 | Knott- Great soundoff for Simple Math. I mean, I disagree, but I can wholly see and understand why somebody would perceive it the way that you do. And you put it incredibly well.
 | TheBalderdashMan That'll come. Once I found out Dan had rated more recently than me, I had to rate something.
 | Blackbelt54 Dido on everything you said except with the monitor
 | Blackbelt54 it's sugar. sweet, sickening, manufactured sugar.
 | Blackbelt54 i'm digging the hold steady, they're emotional. third eye blind, as i have said, is high fructose corn syrup in audio form. and bon iver? zzzzzzzzzzzz
 | ebay sounds good! solid review btw, completely agree.
 | fr33convict Yeah. They're guitarist was my guitar teacher for a bit a while ago. Also, I did the exact same thing you did and bought the EP and was disappointed.
 | fr33convict Holeeeee s*** you've heard of American Mantra?
 | Blackbelt54 i didnt think i would either, but it was streaming and i was bored, so...
 | PandaLuke I must say, sir, you have quite a great taste in music. And TV shows.
 | Phideaux Sweet. Let me know what you think.
 | Phideaux Sure thing.. Check out The Dear Hunter (all of their stuff, but Act III is my favorite), Shaimus - Paper Sun, or The Sad Thing Is We Like It Here (both are great) and Check out the Reign of Kindo - (Again all of their stuff is good). Not sure if you've heard any of those yet. I didn't see them in your ratings. Their all kind of in the alt rock/ indie genre. Let me know if you come across anything else. I'm always looking for more music
 | Phideaux Careo was pretty decent. Thanks for the rec. Not my favorite, but a pretty good listen.
 | Blackbelt54 Put brackets to distinguish the band from the other band by using a location or genre like: embrace [us] or death [punk]
 | SleepingGiant Ive owned over 200 albums over the years, not about to rate them all just for numbers on this site
 | SleepingGiant I didn't say I check out more music then anyone on this site, I said I check out more music then anyone I know...and I dont know that person also Im not going to rate every cd I've ever heard just to have a high number of ratings thats dumb...rating a cd I heard 8 years ago based off of what I remember is...not accurate so I only rate what I actually currently own and I also only rated heavy stuff...I actually have close to 500 hiphop records , 60 indie rock records and about 100 other
 | TheBalderdashMan Interesting observation, and very true. It also happens to be an amazing set of albums.
 | Slum 4 8 15 16 23 42
 | Blackbelt54 it's the black flag logo (an essential 80's hardcore band). ig ur just not punx enough to get it... lol
 | TheBalderdashMan I did have you in mind with the gourmet cheese thing, but it was just a joke.
 | TheBalderdashMan Somehow I just lowered my objectivity by bumping Abbey Road down from a 4.5 to a 4. This is not supposed to happen! Also, although I haven't heard Program Music yet, I agree with you philosophically in your debate with BlackBelt. It's kind of ridiculous to say that liking an album considerably less than two of your 4's is no reason to rate it lower than a 4.
 | Blackbelt54 no, i meant you shouldnt just rate something based on comparing to stuff in that genre
 | Blackbelt54 yeah those previous favs are from when i first got the account
 | AmericnZero02 Yeah I always felt that that record was a little underappreciated on this site. The Beginning (A Simple Seed) is one of my all time favorite songs.
 | TMobotron Haha yeah, I've now gone on to watch just about every other show that's considered good. There are some that are pretty close to it but none of them come close to having the same amount of content as it did, there were so many interwoven stories and so many crucial characters. Was Eko your favorite? I was a John Locke guy myself.
 | TMobotron good to see a lost name around here, i miss the show so much already :(
 | Knott- Maybe the concept hasn't hit. I find it the most uplifting and euphoric album ever.
 | Knott- (m)orning is not better than the everglow listen harder
 | Sowing i read what you wrote and that sounds awesome, i just wish they played more seasons (unless they did and you just didn't specifically mention it). bloom is one of my favorite songs by them so that was a cool one to open with
 | Ironing Hey, someone made multiple accounts just to troll that Old Men Die In New Suits album, ten of those ratings are all a 1, made within hours of each other, only rated that one album, have the same birthday etc, is there any way to get those removed?
 | Ironing My stupid phone won't let me open that link up.
 | Ironing Oh and track list is 1. Automated exchanges 2. lover... 3. Though we fade
 | Ironing Yeah their vocalist said they aren't putting their stuff on I tunes, plus the ep came out like friday. But the info is: album name: evolution ep, date: 10/5, for album art I don't have the link cause I'm replying off my phone but I can give you the link to the myspace and it's the picture of a man laying in a bunch of colors in their artwork album... Http://www.myspace.com/oldmennewsuits yet again thank you for your help, my friend had told me about these guys and I want to get a review.
 | Ironing Well the EP was under the "edit album" section but now it's not there so I guess it wasnt approved but I don't know why why it wouldn't be
 | Ironing Thank you for your help man. Oh god I love that band. So much.
 | Ironing I was trying to add an EP for a band called Old Men Die In New Suits because I'm working on a review forit but it won't show up on their page so I was wondering if you would know why :p
 | Ironing i have a question for you kind sir!
 | TheBalderdashMan OK, I listened again to FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA,
and you're right about the Amazing Grace part. I was thinking of another part before.
 | Xenophanes http://www.mediafire.com/?r9pwwc9v2lwbdtw
 | TheBalderdashMan Well, thanks. I have to say that is my favorite of my soundoffs.
 | DaveyBoy I like your Emery sound off. And u r probably right.
 | TheBalderdashMan Hey, at least you finally have a rating for a non-Christian album.
 | Blackbelt54 thanx dude. i need to listen to brother sister again
 | BrahTheSunGod Thanks for reviewing those Future of Forestry albums! I'm really enjoying them right now.If you really dig that kind of stuff, allow me to reviewwhore myself and recommend Weaver at the Loom. http://www.sputnikmusic.com/album.php?reviewid=38151
 | Blackbelt54 yeah, it might raise/lower after multiple listens. that's a first listen impression. tbh it was better than i expected
 | Blackbelt54 ya myspace is why i have a bazillion ratings
 | Blackbelt54 nice. wish everyone i met liked ska. how was camp?
 | Blackbelt54 i just had a cool album idea: have the song names, when read in succession, make one cohesive sentence
 | Blackbelt54 idk the correct procedure, but: once i hear it, i'll tell ya wat its like
 | Blackbelt54 have you heard the devil and god are raging inside me? cuz i desperately NEED to hear it
 | Blackbelt54 i like the house of heroes song musically, lyrically i think it's a bit cheesy
 | Eko im going to since ill see them in concert in like 3 weeks. the next album im going to buy is brother, sister but im waiting till after exams cuz i dont want the distraction. people like to put their lyrics in their sound offs and reviews and they are really interesting.
 | Blackbelt54 have u listened 2 mewithoutYou yet? they sound bueno
 | Eko its all good. by the way a lot of the albums that are categorized as pop punk i might not think of as that way. a lot i would think more of as alternative.
