| Blackbelt54 that's not what i was saying at all. the part about liking it less than two 4's is fine. i just think that comparing an album to the only two other albums you've heard in the genre (and program music is much different than F#A#oo or ( )) (lol all the parentheses) shouldnt be the only consideration for rating an album

| Eko I once rated a new album a 3 and mine dropped, which shouldnt be mathematically possible. anyways, alt/indie is tied with pop punk now on my pie chart and i got some more alt/indie stuff today so it looks like the days of lost watching pop punk guy are no more.

| Eko I reviewed 3 eps by future of forestry. i tell you because i think you might be interested in the band, kind of U2ish but much more indie. if u check any of it out tell me if youre interested, i can burn you any of their stuff. theyre very good.

| Blackbelt54 tons of bands have free streams on myspace (that's where i heard it), and on npr.org u can hear 'american slang' by gaslight anthem (it's bueno), ya but some are cds my parents had, others are streams from myspace or punknews.org. If u wanna listen to an album, check the band's myspace and see if it's there

| Eko i found a guy who has only rated 7 albums, all by skillet. he rated all of them a 1. his only comment was on one of skillets albums and how he thought they were a work of the devil. so funny.

 | TheBalderdashMan I will indeed make a top ten list. Honestly, my pink floyd ratings are only partially because of my actual opinions, and partially because I don't like having a low "objectivity" score. Even though I recognise the objectivity ratings as stupidly simplistic, I just don't like seeing a message that my ratings have "poor diversity". Probably later I'll start modifying my ratings.
