 | Insurrection yea downloadings been a pain in the ass for me too. i always look for blogspots, but like half the time theyre invalid or from megaupload which is bulls***. ive heard of narrows, they have the same singer from botch right? ill check em out

| Insurrection glad you liked it! im actually not sure who does the vocals at the beginning of the first song, i always assumed it was the singers voice heavily distorted but youre right it does sound a lot like Jacob. as for recs youd probably like the Throats, Deadguy, SikTh and Burst, the last two are kinda proggy for metalcore but still great bands.

| Yeahtoast Those last two are sorta deathcore with a hnt of tech death but you should enjoy them :) they both got 4.5s from me. Try anything you haven't heard from that list out if you want!

I'd love to see Killswitch too once they don't play the new stuff...it's weak man. How were Hatebreed? They put on an awesome show here. Lot of people don't like them around here too but have to admit they put on a good show lol

| Yeahtoast Which review dude? There are a few haha. Um well I'm not much of a Slayer fan but I thought there were some pretty good tunes on there! The title track (actually, while I have an AILD fan in my grasp, did you think the lead riff for the title track sounded uncannily like Within Destruction or was it just me?!) I quite enjoyed after seeing the video, picked up the album and thought there was enough catchy thrash on there to warrant a 4. Psycopathy Red I've liked since it was released also.

| Yeahtoast Eh I think you'd like them all my friend! Esoterica are a pretty cool progressive band I think you'd enjoy looking at your ratings, The Sorrow are awesome metalcore from Austria and Bleed From Within are deathcore which I know you enjoy ;)

 | HeavyB How do you think Diamond Eyes holds up compared to the rest of the Deftones discography? Its definitely amazing but I still prefer White Pony and Around The Fur slightly.

| HeavyB I just like their style I guess. I like lots of older psych rock (13th Floor Elevators, Spacemen 3, The Zombies, Jefferson Airplance) and this album kind of reminds me of that. A lot of people despise MGMT so I'm definitely in the minority. Maybe its just not your cup of tea my friend. Although anyone who likes the Deftones is cool by me.
